waking up

[Gambit]

(gambit wakes up)

gambit:"arhh, chere what cha do to gambit."

(then looks around and notices his know longer in the kichen)

gambit:"where did chere take gambit. where everyone go"

(gambit rubs his head and lays back down)

gambit:"chere says she'll find gambit a room but chere sticks gambit on a couch"

[Rogue]

(Rogue walks into the living room and sees Gambit laying on the couch. Thinking he is still asleep she turns to leave)

Rogue: (whispers): Ah figured he would still be out fa the count

[Gambit]

(gambit sees rouge walk in to the living room)

gambit:"hey chere how about takeing a seat with gambit, no"

(gambit taps a spot next to him)

[Rogue]

(Rogue flips around at the sound of his voice.)

Rogue: Ah just wanted ta check on ya. . . and say ah'm sorry fa leaving ya down here on the couch. When ya kissed me ah absorbed ya powers and ah couldn't touch anything without it blowing up. So Nima, brought ya in here for the night.

(Rogue walks over and sits down next to him on the couch)

Rogue: ya shouldn't have kissed me ya fool, ah could have killed ya

[Gambit]

gambit:"oh chere but i wasnt killed gambit still here. you no seen to mean that gambit kissed you. did chere like the kiss? gambit knows he liked it"

[Rogue]

(Rogue blushes a little bit)

Rogue: Thats besides the point, Swamp Rat. Ya just can't go around kissing people, especially me. Next time ya might not be so lucky

[Gambit]

gambit:"but you still know answer gambits question. did you like the kiss"

[Rogue]

(Rogue just sits there for a second)

Rogue: Of course not, now part of ya is stuck in mah head, forever.

[Gambit]

gambit:"rogue no like gambit?"

[Rogue]

Rogue: Its not that Gambit. . .. ah just don't want anyone ta get hurt. . . Ah have ta live mah life neva being able ta touch anyone with out them getting hurt.

(Tears fill up in her eyes)

[Gambit]

gambit:"it's ok chere"

(then puts his arm around rogue)

gambit:"dont cry some one as pretty as you shouldn't cry"

[Rogue]

(Rogue doesn't understand why but something feel right with Gambits arm around her. She stays there for a moment and then sits up)

Rogue: Ok, Swamp Rat, heres that deal ya gotta promise not ta do anything like that again. That means keep ya hands ta yaself from now on, alright

[Gambit]

gambit:"gambit can't promise that chere but gambit well try"

[Rogue]

(Rogue shoves Gambit off the couch and on to the floor)

Rogue: Ah swear . . ya got a death wish don't ya

[Gambit]

(gambit rubs his but as it hit the floor)
gambit:"why do you want to be alone so much chere. don't you want to be loved"
