Christina: So what now? Should I start doing some danger room stuff or what?

(Kitty and Lockheed enters, and Kitty notices everyone there.)
Shadowcat: Hey everyone. Well Christina, I see you've met our team leader Chris, or ECKS as he is sometimes called. So what's been happening in here? Any training sessions running today?

ECKS: "She was just runnin' through a few trainin' sessions. Her telekinesis needs a little work. Also, we're tryin' ta figure out a way to test her premonitions, I think Liz came up with the best idea so far."

Shadowcat: Well, whatever it is, let's run with that. You might also want to test to see how strong she is physically. With telekinesis being the only power she could use to defend for herself, until she gains control of it, she may need to learn a few sparring techniques.

Liz: Mein idea vas that ve could have she guide someone through a course vith her predicting vhat the run vill do. The two of you have an interesting connection already so you should be the person she guides Kitty.

Shadowcat: Okay, it's all right with me. How about it, Christina? You're up for a real danger room session?
(Kitty and Lockheed join with Christina in the danger room.)
Christina: I won't lie to you guys. I'm pretty nervous. I've never been able to call on a premontion before. They just happen whenever they feel like.
Shadowcat: Don't worry. We're not going to start you off with more than you can handle. Your first danger room session is pretty basic. It lets us know where you stand. In the future, the sessions' intensity will increase as you gain better control. As for your powers, control only comes with practice. Just try what you can.

ECKS: "If it makes you feel any better I'll even hang 'round to keep an eye on the two of ya. Make sure nothing goes wrong. And like she said, we'll start simple. Give you a chance ta get the hang of just how this works."

(Christina took a few deep breaths.)
Christina: Okay. But I wouldn't expect too much if I was you. Is there anything else before I go through with this?

ECKS: "Best advice? Communicate. Talk to each other, you're a team, we're all a team. And sometimes one of us may see somethin' comin' that the others don't see, so talk to'em, help each other out."
ECKS: "Even though it's a little different, in a way in applies so bear with me. One of the first things basketball coaches teach players is how to communicate to help set picks and let people know who's open, and I believe that applies to our team, too. If we're in a fight together and someone's comin' up behind me, if you see'em and I don't, or even if 'maybe' I see'em but you're not sure if I do, say something. Trust me when I say that being able to talk to each other in tight situations helps. The best layed plan can crumble but if we help each other and talk each other through it we can still work it out. That's about the best advice I can give ya."

Christina: Okay. Thanks, Coach.
(She gives ECKS a small salute. She then follows Kitty to one end of the danger room, where the session will begin. As she walk, she crackes her fingers... always a nervous habit... and adjusts her fingerless gloves to fit her better. Kitty notices her fidgetting.)
Shadowcat: You're sure you're ready for this? We can do this whenever you feel you're ready.
Christina: I'm okay. I always get nervous at first, but once I get going I'll be fine. I just want to get this over with.
Shadowcat: Okay... ECKS, whenever you're ready.

(ECKS nods and starts a new sequence of events to try and test Oracle's preminitions. Once finished he gives the ok to Oracle and Kitty.)
ECKS: "Ok guys, basic idea here is to watch your surroundings. Somethin' will happen that should trigger a premonition, when it does the two of you need to react to it as soon as possible to avoid it. You avoid it ok and we continue to the next obstacle. If it gets to dangerous in there for ya, just say stop and I'll shut it down. Remember, communicate and watch each others backs."

(When the alarm sounded to begin the session, Kitty went to take a step forward, but Christina stopped her.)
Christina: Wait... let me see if I can get something first.
(She places her hand on Kitty's shoulder and waits. After waiting for a few seconds, Christina shuts her eyes and concentrates harder.)
Christina: Damn it, it's not working.
Shadowcat: Keep trying. Focus.
Christina: I am. It's just...
(She groans in frustration and slams her other fist into the wall. The minute she does this, she gasps and her eyes begin to glow purple. She sees small openings in the wall as projectiles shoot out across the room, next came falling debris from the ceiling. Christina takes a breath as her eyes return to their natural blue state.)
Christina: *while catching her breath* Spikes... from the wall... *she points to the wall they will originate from* then... falling *She indicates things falling from the ceiling by pointing at the ceiling and then dropping her hand down*
Shadowcat: Got it. You okay?
Christina: Fine... This always happens after a premontion. Lets go.
(Christina and Kitty begins to walk carefully into the room. Christina keeps her eyes on the wall. Sure enough, the wall begins to open in various spots as the first of the spikes shoot out. Kitty also notices this.)
Shadowcat: Go! Now!
(Christina and Kitty begins to run, dodging the spikes at all cost. Christina has to jump back a few times, bend down, and roll to avoid them. Kitty makes her way towards Christina and grabs her arm. Kitty phases herself and Christina through the remaining spikes until they clear the wall.)
