(Ana is sitting in the front seat of the jet making all the pre-flight preparations. With ECKS down she figures she'll be making this flight. But her extensive training with Weapon X included flight training so it's not beyond her abilities. After making the usual maintenance checks she begins calculating the fuel needed for the trip to make sure they have enough. Satisfied with that she moves on.)

(Kitty enters the hanger and supporting Mindcontrol to help him walk after his session in Cerebro. She helps him into the copilot's chair next to Ana.)
Shadowcat: Are we all set to go?

Ana: "We are now. And it looks like it's just the three of us. I just got a message from ECKS, he's kicked Magneto out and it seems that Christina left the mansion. He didn't give me all the details but he said he'd be fine by himself."
(She gives them both a moment to get strappend in and ready to go, then close the bay door and fires up the engine. Within minutes they are through the launch sequence and are in the air on the way to find Liz.)
Ana: "You know, I've never been to Egypt before, we should do some sightseeing before we leave."
(She looks over at Kitty and smiles, she's kidding about the sightseeing bit of course.)

(A few hours pass as they close in on the spot Mindcontrol pointed out. Ana checks the map again, then goes a little lower hoping Liz might see them and try to signal them so they can find her exact location.)
Ana: "Well, if I'm looking at this thing right we should be right over her head by now. I'm not to sure about where to land, I guess I was hoping she'd see us and make the job easy by doing that 'whoosh' thing she does."
(She circles over again then starts to look for a place to land in case Liz isn't in a position to see the jet overhead.)

(The team begins to search for the green light after hearing Liz's words. Kitty sees a small clearing with a green light.)
Shadowcat: Look, she's over there.
(Ana flies the jet towards Liz. Kitty notices Liz lying down on top of the makeshift coffin.)
Shadowcat: It looks like she isn't moving much. Do you think she can teleport to us?

(Ana, Kitty, and Jack watch as Liz moves off the coffin and over to the briefcase. A moment later, Liz is in one of the seats in the back. She looks up at the others and smiles sadly, her broken shoulder now evident in the light of the jet.)
Liz: Es took you guys long enough to catch up vith me.
(She kicks the briefcase over to them.)
Liz: Ze guy zat ve vere following left zat behind. Zere ist at least five hundred zousand American dollars in zere. Most likely more. Ve can use es to rebuild ze mansion.

(Mindcontrol grabs the briefcase and begins to look at it with envy then realizes what Liz said then hands it to Shadowcat)

(Liz nods her dark head.)
Liz: Ja. Chaze told me his name ist Matzews. His codename ist Radar but I have no idea vhat his power ist. His ist ze reason Chaze ist dead. He hates being a mutant und he hates all mutants. He vas buying some artifact but ve vere never able to find out vhat es vas. I vill breif everyone vhen ve get back...
(She turns her head and wipes the tears that had formed.)

(Kitty places the suitcase down on her seat and goes to Liz.)
Shadowcat: It's okay. You can tell us the whole story later. You look like you're injuried. We'll get you some medical attention right when we get back, but for now you should get some rest.

(Liz smiles softly at Kitty then glances down at her shoulder. It looked about as bad as the time Callisto broke it down in The Ally about a year yearlier.)
Liz: I have had a similar injury before. Und I do not need rest. I have been lying on his tomb of two days.
(Her last words were said with a sad laugh in them.)
Liz: Really, I vill be fine. Let us just get home.

(Kitty notices the saddened tone in Liz's voice. It brings a lot of questions to her mind about what exactly happened in Egypt. But she decides to wait until they have regrouped back at the mansion to ask. Liz seems like she has been through a lot these past few days.)
Shadowcat: Okay then. Ana, let's go home.

(Liz gets up from the seat and walks over to a back corner of the jet. She crouches and blends in with the shadows. She doesn't move, but her eyes change from brilliant emerald back to deadsage green. From the dark corner, only the slight glow from her eyes is visible.)

(Ana acknowledges Kitty and turns the jet back toward home.)
Ana: "That's all I needed to hear."
(She hits the afterburners and the jet rockets back in the direction of the mansion.)
