(ECKS walks into his office with Ana close behind him. He leaves the door open, expecting anyone to come and welcome him home at any time. He takes his back pack off and sets it next to his desk then takes his seat. He turns the computer on and waits for it to load. Ana takes a look around the large office room while he works.)

(Suddenly the door behind the bookshelf opens up and Liz steps out. The noice from the door causes both ECKS and a new woman to turn abrubtly to face her. Liz looks down at the ground when she sees the look of shear horror on the girl's face.)
Liz: Bad time I guess. Should I return later?

(ECKS stands up to quickly calm Ana down. The sight of Nightct has slightly startled her.)
ECKS: "No it's fine. It's ok, Ana, this is Liz. She lives here in the mansion with me. Liz this is Ana, the girl I've spent the last few years tryin' to find. She's come home with me, for good."
Ana: "Sorry, I guess I was just a little surprised by your appearance. I hope I didn't offend you. If I did, I really didn't mean to."

(Still looking down at the floor, Liz shakes her dark head.)
Liz: You did not offend me. I have had it happen vay too many times to be offended anymore.
(She pads over to Ana, keeping her head low as not to look in her eyes, her tail swing low and feelbly. Liz extends a three-fingered, indigo furred hand to Ana and wait for her to respond.)

(She takes Liz's hand and returns the gesture by shaking it.)
Ana: "It's actually Anastasia, but Chris always preferred Ana. Just easier to say I guess. It's nice to meet you, Liz."

(Liz drops Ana's hand and turns to face ECKS.)
Liz: A lot has happened since you have been gone. Ve have three new people and have had five fights. Nightcrawler is passed out in the infirmary from the lack of food and water, but I have him on an IV. And the President as been assinated. There are more things but ve will have to vait for the others to get back.

(Shock comes across both ECKS and Ana's face. ECKS stops his work on the computer and looks over to Nightcat.)
Ana: "The President!? How did this happen?"
(She turns to ECKS.)

(then turns to ECKS)

Liz: As far as I can tell, it vas mutant related. There vas a small flash of teleportation vapors similar to mine and Kurt's. Rogue took a team to D.C. but they should be back very soon.
(She tilts her head to one side and her face goes oddly blank.)
Liz: They are all home but Sonima found out something that ist not gute.

(ECKS turns to Gambit. He also motions to Ana, who is now standing next to him.)
ECKS: "I'm ECKS and this is Ana."
Ana: "Good to meet you all. I assume you all live here, too."
(ECKS turns back to Liz.)
ECKS: "Rogue doesn't know I'm back yet so if she reports anythin' let me know. I wanna be kept in the loop about this. Anythin' like this is definitely bad for all of us."
