[Shadowcat]

(Kitty's attention is turned when 8-Ball says his good-bye.)

Shadowcat: No! 8-Ball!

(She sees he is no longer breathing. She begins CPR to try to revive him.)

Shadowcat: Come on. Don't die.

(Kitty hears Varalf and responses.)

Shadowcat: 8-Ball's dying. I need help.

[Nightcat]

(Liz starts to hyperventalate. Tears start to flow from her eyes as she is ejected from Victor's dead mind. She opens her eyes and looks up at Kitty.)

Liz: He ist dead. There ist nothing more ve can do.

[Shadowcat]

(Kitty hears Liz's voice.)

Shadowcat: No.

(She stops performing CPR as tears fall down her face.)

Shadowcat: I was too late.

[Varalf]

(Varalf hears the message over the communicator and he sends and message to ECKS.)

Varalf: 8-Ball is dead. What do you wish for us to do?

[inferno]

*breaks free from the ice*

nice wepon you got there but it wont beat me

*looks up and shots fire*

[Nightcat]

Liz:Scheiße

(Liz grabs Kitty and teleports her away from Inferno. )

((continued on roof.))

[inferno]

now where did they go?

*smiles and looks over to 8-ball and grabs him*

i did it i killed him

*smiles and goes back to the factory*

[Varalf]

(Varalf looks downward and begins to cry)

Varalf:(softly) Again, I have failed my family again

(He becomes silent, then raises his head. He has a look of anger, and his eyes show only the fire of his target. As Inferno goes back inside the factory, He puts the car in gear and begins to drive down towards her.)

Varalf:(Screaming) NEVER AGAIN!!! Moya sem''a ne budet lezhat' zabytyj!!!!!

(He tumbles out of the car in the last hundred feet and rolls another fifty. The car then hits the wall of the Sandstormer's Mansion and, as per Varalf's tinkering, explodes, sending shrapnel everywhere and piercing Varalf with a two foot long section, and over ten times with smaller six inch sections. As he lies on the ground bleeding he says to his comrades through the radio Ecks provided.)

Varalf: Comrades, I am still alive. I will not remain this way long, however. I am (Coughs) ...sorry, I am unable to walk or otherwise move my...(coughs a wet, blood filled cough)...move myself.....please......help...(he fades away as the extreme blood loss causes him to lose consciousness. As he lays waiting for help, his body quickly seals as much of the holes as possible, stopping any further blood loss. He doesn't realize, however, that the explosion he was striving for damaged his communicator enough to make his message unintelligible)

[Nightcrawler]

Kurt: Scheiße

(He teleports off the roof and grabs Varalf. He then teleports back to the mansion.)

[Shadowcat]

(Kitty phases out of the building with the team. After the team lets go, she staggers a bit and holds her head.)

Shadowcat: I'm okay. It's been a while since I've done any phasing with more than two people.

(She shakes her head and stands up.)

[avriletta]

(avriletta looks around after the explosion.)

lil'a: Varalf?........(flies over the area)... ... ...VARALF?!!!

(she continues to looks for him then sees the blood where he was and the footprints around the spot; then filled in the blanks)

in french: to the mansion; if any of you survived i shall see to the deepst pits of hell and return with your hearts in my hands... ...

[Nightcat]

Liz(telepathic message to all): Varalf ist fine. His healing powers and Kurt's reflexes kicked in just in time. Ve are back at the mansion.

[Shadowcat]

Shadowcat: Okay. Well it looks like we have to get back to the jet on foot.
