(Christina had been running for most of the night. Exhaustion finally overcame her as she spent her night, sleeping in a tree to keep her hidden from others. She awoke right at sunrise and continued her walk. It was about a mile or two later that she had finally reached her destination.)
(Christina walks up to the front door, still debating whether or not she should really be here. But she figures...)
Christina: This is a school to learn how to control. They should know if there's a way to get rid of them, permanently.
(Christina hesitates to knock.)
Christina: They may have seen the paper. They might not believe me.
(But then she remembered that man in the wheelchair again. He said he was a telepath. He could read her mind. Christina figures that surely someone could read her mind to know she was telling the truth. Still unsure whether she was making the right choice, she knocks lightly on the door.)

(Christina looks up as the door opens. Two people were there and already welcoming her in. Christina picks up her bag and walks in. She turns back around to face the two.)
Christina: Um... hi. I didn't know where else to go, but I've heard this was a safe place for...
(She didn't want to say the word. It meant she was admitting what she was. So she chose another word.)
Christina: "gifted" people.

(Kitty smiles as Mindcontrol introduces her. She holds out her hand to Christina.)
Shadowcat: Hi, nice to meet you.
(Christina just stares at Kitty's hand. She didn't want to have as much physical contact as possible. So she just nods her head at them.)
Christina: Nice to meet you both.
(Kitty takes her hand back and whispers to Mindcontrol.)
Shadowcat: She's seems a little nervous or scared. Maybe the newspaper was wrong.

(Christina takes a step back as a cougar walks into the room. But then it mutates into a human. Christina stares in bewilderment. She has never seen another mutant before like that. In fact these people were the first mutants she had seen since Professor X.)
(Kitty looks at Falco. Lockheed growls at the cougar but stops as it became a human. Kitty shakes his hand.)
Shadowcat: I'm Kitty or Shadowcat. And this dragon is my pet, Lockheed.

Christina: You see... it's because of my powers that I'm here. I can get premontions through physical contact with an object or person connected with my vision. I hated it. So when the cure was around, I took it. But just recently, they came back with something new. And I was hoping... any of you wouldn't know how I can make it where I don't have my powers anymore, permanently?
