[ECKS]

...

ECKS: "Now that is the one thing I managed to get before coming here. I got plenty of Aspirin, with all the headaches I get it's an essential part of life."

(ECKS stands and walks to the cabinets over the sink, he pulls down a bottle and a glass. He fills the glass with some water from the dispenser on the refrigerator and walks back to Nightcat. He opens the bottle and fishes out two pills then reaches out to hand the pills and the water to Nightcat.)

ECKS: "Try this. It's the strongest one they make."

[Nightcat]

(Liz sits up a little. She takes with glass and pills, squinting up at ECKS as the lights blare down on her. She tilts her head back as she swallows the pills, the water cool againt her sore throat.)

Liz: Danke mein Freund. I guess all we need to do is just calm down and it will not be bad.

(She turns her head to face Rogue. It takes a minute to focus on her.)

Liz: I am sorry if I scared you. The two of us still are not used to the link and what I saw kind of, how do you say it, "freaked me out." And danke for staying with me until ECKS got here. It means alot to me.

[ECKS]

...

ECKS: "No problem. You'd do the same for me. But for now I think it'd be a good idea if you got some rest. That looked like some display of power."

(ECKS grabs the empty glass of water and reaches behind him to set it on the table. After glancing over at Rogue he turns back to Nightcat.)

ECKS: "You sure you're ok, Liz?"

...

[Nightcat]

(Liz swade as she stood up. She shook her graceful, dark head.)

Liz: Nien. My head won't clear completely. But maybe rest woul...)

(She stopped mid-sentence, fainting back on to the hard floor narrowly missing her head on the counter on the way down.)

[ECKS]

(Using his animal like sixth sense and reflexes ECKS quickly manages to scoop Nightcat up and into his arms just before she can hit the ground. He turns to look at Rogue.)

ECKS: "She'll be fine. I think. I'm just gonna take her to her room, maybe if she can get a little sleep she'll feel better. Don't worry about cleanin' up or anything. I can do that when I get back."

(He starts walking toward the hallway but stops in the entrance and glances back over his shoulder.)

ECKS: "I'll be back."

(Then he turns and starts down the hall toward the elevator. Still holding Nightcat he leans in close and pushes the call button. After a short whirring sound and a ding, the doors slide open and he steps in. Then the doors close behind him.)

[Rogue]

(Rogue starts to clean up the kitchen anyway. She remembers back to when her pwoers went out of control and all of the people in her head started to fight to get out. Seeing Liz on the ground writhing like that brought all those memories back to her head. She shakes her head and gets back to the dishes.)
