(She walks to one of the cabinets and gathers some gauze to help treat Rogue's wounds.)

(gambit leans down to rouge and kisses her)

(Inside Rogue's mind replays the scene over and over again. The pain that she felt . . . that she has put people through countless times was almost unbearable. She swears to herself that she will never touch another human being as long as she lives. Tears begin to fall from her eyes as she lay there unconscious. Never again will she use her powers, if they ever return to her. She feels so weak not only from the blood lose but from the lack of her invulnerability. She can hear Remy pacing back and forth around her bed but doesn;t even try and awaken.)
Rogue: (in her mind)Ah don;t deserve ta live. After all the pain ah have put people through and failing Nima.
(Her body is slowly dying from the lack of will to live.)

(Liz suddenly appears in front of Rogue. Liz looks down at her broken friend, her dead eyes wondering over Rogue's body. Liz passes her right hand on Rogue's forehead and Rogue "see" Liz standing beside her. Rogue tries to get away from Liz as she looks into Liz's dead eyes.)
Rogue: Liz! What happened ta ya?
Liz(telepathically(flat, monotoneous voice): I, like yourself, am losing the vill to live. But your life is just beginning. Do not let go. There are people here that care about you. Think of Gambit. He loves you so much. And if that ist not insentive enought, think of your brother. I can feel his sadness. If you die, then he feels like he... he... He vill not know vhat to do vith his life. Do no blame yourself for vhat has happened. I vill find a vay to come back. Sonima. Ve vill find a vay. Do not lose faith. Come back and live to fight another day. I vill see you soon mien Freund.
(Slowly Liz withdraws from Rogue's consiousness and disappears, leaving Rogue with newfound strength.)
