(Liz and Anna enter the room. There are only three things on the off-white walls- a picture of a monastary, a picture of her Liz's family, and an old circus poster featuring Nightcrawler. The curtain are limp and a dull gray.)
Liz: I know es ist not much but I vorked vith vhat I had.

Ana: "That's ok, I got some cool stuff in here. We'll start with the curtains. That seems to be the easiest part."
(Ana pulls out a few different curtain sets and places them on the bed to show them to Liz.)
Ana: "I got some dark green curtains, some maroon curtains that I think are some kind of satin, and these violet ones for starters. Which one do you think fits you best?"

(Liz reaches out and feels the different materials that the curtains are made of. She tilts her head slightly as her feels the dark green ones.)
Liz:I like zese
(She walks over to the old curtains and calls them down with telekinese. She pads back to the bed, sets the rod down, and starts to take the old ones off. Soon the old is off and the new are on and up. Liz takes a step back from the window to look at them.)
Liz: I like zem. Zey are a lot better zan ze gray vones.

Ana: "You're in luck, I just happened to buy the matching bed set for those curtains, too. It's got a white bed spread, top sheet, and a comforter the same colors as the curtains. The other bag has a couple of throw pillows, if you'd like to use them."
(After pulling out the bed set and pillows she stops to take a look around the room.)
Ana: "And I guess next time I go I'll have to get some wallpaper or something like that. They had some really cool stuff there."

Liz: Anna. You are too gute to me. Danke. Ze room already looks better.
(She laughs as she remembers her past.)
Liz: Vone vould zink zat I vould be used to having a large room like zis or having friends, but in all reality, I never had any of zis before I met Chris. He took me in at anozer mansion und he taught me to not be ashamed of vhat I look like. I do not know vhere I vould be if es vere not for him.

(Ana smiles and thinks of Chris, the way he was before all this.)
Ana: "He's always been that kind of guy. The kind who can tell you exactly what he thinks you need to here to believe something. I guess that's part of why I like him so much. Just being around him gives me this since that he can make anything he sets his mind to happen. No matter how far fetched it may seem. He just has an undying will to always succeed, no matter how bad things look. He never gives up, never backs down, and never quits. And that makes the people around him the same way, he wills them to be better."
Ana: "We're all lucky to know him. I think he may really be able to pick up where Xavier left off. It'll take time and it won't be easy but I think he has what it takes to make this work again."

Liz: I agree vith you Anna. I never knew Xavier, but I did know about his plans for a peaceful co-existance between normal humans und mutants. Zat ist vhat Chris vants und he has ze drive to make es happen.

Ana: "I just hope he can handle what it is he's in for. I thought I'd lost him once before and when he showed up all those months ago it made me realize just how much he really meant to me. I can't lose him again, not now. Not ever. I know there's not too many people on earth, if any at all, that can do anything really bad to him, with his abilities and all that, but you never really know for sure. Nobody lives forever."
(Ana is silent for a second, looking down at the floor.)
Ana: "I just get the feeling something big is coming. I don't know what but I doubt that it's good. I'm talking end of the world type thing, and I'm talking sooner rather than later."

(Liz's eyes glow green for but a second before returning to normal.)
Liz: You are not wrong in zat prediction. Somevone... Somezing ist coming. Vhatever es ist though, ve are ready to fight es.
(She motions to the door.)
Liz: Come on. Let us go get ze lights und stuff for ze tree.

(Ana stands back up and heads toward the door.)
Ana: "I hope your right, but at the same time I can't help but have my doubts."
(She heads out the door and waits for Liz to catch up before heading toward the closet.)

(Liz follows Anna down the stairs to the little closet beneath them. They each grab a box and Liz takes another with telekinese. Anna kicks the door closed and the two girls head down to the living room.)
