(Shortly after leaving 8-Ball's room ECKS comes back to his office to find Nightcat waiting for him. He takes his seat.)
ECKS: "I see you're feelin' better. Did you need to talk about somethin'?"

Liz: Ja, I am feeling better. Ranger is still sleeping it off in the living room. And you told me that you wanted to know about what had happened in the Danger Room, did you not?
(She folds her hands and waits for him to respond.)

(Liz closes her eyes and trys to remember exactly what had taken place.)
Liz: I had told Ranger that I wanted to train him personally with his teleporting. 8-ball was welcome to join us and that i would try and find Rogue. I could not, so i went and found the boys waiting for me at the Danger Room to get them started. I gave them both simple assainments. 8-ball was to hit a series of stationary targets using smaller blasts to build his stamina. Ranger was to teleport from moving wall to moving wall.
Ranger is very new with the teleporting and is still alittle scared and was unable to finish the first run. 8-ball completed his run perfectly and asked to progress to moving targets that would fire back. I consented. I set Ranger to the first run one mor time and told him to relax.
8-ball tryed hitting the targets back but one hit him pretty hard and he got mad and blasted it full force. he half collapesed. I ran over to him, diabled his run, and then saw Ranger fainted after three 'ports. I 'ported 8-ball and myself over to Ranger and I disabled Ranger's run and 'ported over to the wall where eventually I fainted from too many tandoms with too much weight.
I am surprised that 8-ball was even able to get both of us up here. He deserves a lot of credit.
(Liz opens her eyes as she finishes her report. She lockes her gaze onto ECKS as she waits for him to respond

ECKS: "Ok. I already spoke with 8-Ball and told him that I made a mistake in blamin' him. I think he did a great job not just in the Danger Room but in gettin' you two out of there. It seems his anger is still a little hard for him to control, we'll have to work on that. But other than that he did fine."
(He looks through some of the papers on his desk. Jots down a few quick notes about the Danger Room session then turns back to Nightcat.)
ECKS: "I still think that both 8-Ball and Ranger both need more training before becomin' full members of the team. In fact, I'd like to see them myself the next time they take a run in the Danger Room. I might even join them next time just to make sure they can follow orders in the field. And so I can keep anything from getting to out of control. Other than that, you did a fine job in observing them and it seems they're both gettin' more'an more used to workin' together rather than alone. I have to be able to trust them to work as a team before I can fully admit them."
(He smiles and starts to add a few more things to the report he's been working on since Nightcat's arrival.)

(Liz suddenly remembers something that 8-ball had said.)
Liz: You are probably the best hand-to-hand combat teacher that these boys can get. I'm good with weapons, but when it comes to hand-to-hand, you would probably beat me hands down.
(She smirks as she thought of a challenge)
Liz: I want to actually test that. I will contact you when we can fight. OK? It does not matter who wins but it would be a learing experience for the both of us. Would you not agree?

(Liz jumps to her feet, tail swinging in aggitation. She realises who is there and she relaxes.)
Liz: Sorry about that. My nerves are on edge right now. I am a little worse for wear, but I will be fine.
(She closes her eyes and her dark head turns to face the front area.)
Liz: Someone is coming. They are both telekinetic and telepathic. I canno say exactly how powerful, but I am feeling them from here, then they are pretty well devoloped in their powers.

Rogue: Ah feel horrible for leaving ya alone with the boys in he danger room. Draining that boy yesterday it took alot outta me. If ah ahd been there ah couldn't have stopped ya from over doing yaself. Ah will check out our new visitor.
