Game Plan

[ECKS]

(ECKS enters the room and immediately takes a seat at his desk. He clicks the computer on and starts pulling up all the blue prints for the mansion. Ana and Magneto follow him in, Ana walks around and stands behind ECKS. Magneto stands next to the window.)

ECKS: "So lets be straight here. You have one primary job that I expect you to be able to handle easily. If anything metalllic enters this mansion, a bullet, a grenade, a knife anythin' at all, I'm holdin' you personally resposible. Anythin' else you do has to go through me first. I need to concentratin' on one thing, we can handle most'a the fightin' as long as we're not bein' shot or blown up. We clear."

(He shoots a look to Magneto, raising an eyebrow, and waits to see if he's understood.)

[Magneto]

(Smugly he smiles back.)

Magneto: "Crystal."

(After answering he turns back to the window.)

Magneto: "But make no mistake, my boy, I do intend to fight in this battle. Not even you can stop me from that. I'll do whatever you ask me to as long as when the time comes you allow me to do what must be done to ensure victory. You can't expect me to hold back forever."

[ECKS]

(ECKS stops and sighs heavily. The turns to Magneto.)

ECKS: "Yeah I know. And trust me, you'll get your chance. He's taken from both of us and I wouldn't dare get in the way of revenge. But there's a time for it, and when the fightin' starts I want you strictly on the defensive, once I see that we have the upper hand, or if we start to lose it, I'll let you decide what needs to be done from your standpoint. And normally when that time comes I'd ask you not to use lethal force, but in this case, lethal force may be the only answer."

Ana: "Wait a minute. Are you saying we should kill them?"

ECKS: "Only if it comes to that. And if they start to tear this place apart like they did in the Savage Lands, I will give the ok to fight back, by any means neccessary. I just wanted to get that out before anyone else got here."

(A little rattled by the serious tone of ECKS' voice Ana just continues to help him pull up files.)

[Shadowcat]

(Kitty, Lockheed, and Christina enter ECKS's office, suited up.)

Shadowcat: Okay, so what's the first plan of action?

[Mindcontrol]

(Mindcontrol enters a couple minutes after Christina, Lockheed and Shadowcat did)

[ECKS]

ECKS: "Ok, the mansion's defensive systems include turrets hidden in corner's of the four walls around the grounds. They also include several turrets and other devices on the grounds. Each one can be activated from different computer terminals. The computers control the turrets in four sections. The left front turret controls the left front defenses and so on."

Ana: "So you want us to split up and go to each of the computer checkpoints to make sure the computers and their uplinks to the weapons are operational, right?"

ECKS: "Exactly. All four computers are hidden on the roof. The way up is through this elevator, there's a large flat square slab, much like a typical heliport. Only it's surrouded by a thick, steel plated, eight-foot high wall to protect the computer's operators. We're gonna go up there and make sure they're operational and ready, we may need'em."

Ana: "We've decided that this is our first option once the fighting starts. But we aim at equipment, vehicles, things like that. If it becomes neccessary to fire back at soldiers, then so be it, but only as a last resort. If they get through the mansion walls and onto the grounds, it's a "fire at will" kinda thing. Each computer is linked to a camera so you can see what you're aiming at and still remain behind the safety wall."

(ECKS presses a button and the elevator opens behind him.)

ECKS: "I never mentioned this room before because I never thought we'd need ta use it. But I guess there really is a first time for everything. So after you."

(He stands aside and waits for the other to enter first.)

[Shadowcat]

(Kitty's nerves become a bit shaken when she sees that the situation has come to where it must result in firing turrets, but Kitty decides that she is willing to do anything it takes to protect this mansion and everyone in it. She follows ECKS's orders and enters the elevator. Christina enters the elevator after Kitty.)

[Mindcontrol]

(Mindcontrol looks at the elevator and thinks of the times he did the wrong thing and now its time to make up for that to do whats right.he enters the elevator)

[Magneto]

(Magneto notices that ECKS is also waiting for him to go along so he walks over and enters the elevator with the others.)

Magneto: "This had better be good."

(He crosses his arms and waits.)

[ECKS]

(ECKS and Ana enter the elevator last and the doors close behind them.)

ECKS: "It will be, you just keep your pants on, old man."
