So far the real X-Men characters that are already being used by members of this board are as follows. You may not choose to be a character already on this list unless the person currently acting as that character quits the boards and relinquishes their character.

Of course original characters that are taken won't need a list here because who's going to take an original character from someone else.

I've done a little thinking about this whole use "real" X-Men character thing and I'm still cool with it. Like I said you can join as any real X-Man you want as long as you don't try to get one that's taken already but I would like to add one small rule about it.

Which no one I can see has broken yet so this is only meant for future applicants, I will only allow one real X-Man per user, so if you register as let's say Wolverine, you cannot also take Cyclops. Just so that we don't have one person taking all the good "real" X-Men. I think that is a fair rule to make.

Now as far as original characters, make as many as you wish but remember, you alone have to manage each of your characters, so if you make five people, you gotta manage five people.

Fair enough, I think so. This way more people will have a chance to take a real X-Man.
