(8-ball went in to his room and slamed the door and in his rage throw a throwing stars all over the wall and droped a lamp down to the ground)
8-ball:"f*@Ker who dose he think he is looking down on me like that.
(8-ball gose to the window and looks out of it)

(After walking up the stairs and down the hall to 8-Balls room. He stops for a second to collect himself.)
ECKS: "Hope this kid's not still mad at me."
(He rubs the side of his face then reaches up and knocks on the door. He waits for an answer.)

(ECKS walks in and closes the door behind him. He turns around and faces 8-Ball. He walks a little closer before speaking.)
ECKS: "Look, I'm sorry. You did a good thing downstairs today. Thanks for that. But you gotta understand something, when you first showed up here you were tryin' to rob us. And you tried to blow me up. So I was a little concerned whether I could trust you or not, but after seeing what happened today, it's a lot easier to trust you."
(He paces a little to help him think. Then stops and crosses his arms in front of his chest.)
ECKS: "You still need some fine tunin' on your skills, and you're short temper, but if you keep up the good work you might just make it as a member of this team. And that word is important, 'cause we are team and work together and we have trust each other. I just wanted to say that I'm glad to have you and I'm willin' to give you a second chance and you can give me one."
(He extends his hand in friendship hoping that 8-Ball will accept his gesture.)

ECKS: "I was once a member of the X-Men, for a short time, and I got to know Xavier and I helped him in his dream. But when Xavier died I left hoping to find a new place to live. Life in his mansion after he died was just to difficult."
(ECKS stops to think about those hard times. He shakes it off and continues.)
ECKS: "I found this mansion from some plans I found at the old mansion and decided to take it over. Here I've started a new team, called Generation NeXt. NeXt because I hope to help teach the next generation of mutants how to use their powers for good rather than bad. My first two recruits were Nightcat and another former X-Man, Rogue. You and Ranger have the chance to be members, too, if you can prove that you're willin' to train yourselves and be part of a team, rather than go out on your own."
ECKS: "Think you can handle that?"

ECKS: "So far, but I hope to have more of us join in time. It just takes time for some people like us to want to be helped. There will be more members soon enough, all we have to do is be ready to help them when they arrive."
(ECKS uncrosses his arms.)
ECKS: "Sorry to have to leave so soon, but if you don't have any further questions for me, I have some work to do. I'll be in my office later if you need anything else."
