Inside The Church

[Nightcat]

(Liz watches them leave. She turns back to the two siblings. Kurt has come out from behind her and he is now sitting at a pew close by. She can tell he wants her there for some reason but cannot figure it out yet.)

Liz: I am going to stay in case anyone needs a telepathic filter.

[8-ball]

(8-ball opens and goes out side)

[Nightcrawler]

(Kurt sits down at one of the pews and puts his dark head in his hands. He doesn't know what to say. He reaches down and starts to finger the rosary again, this time saying the Lord's Prayer.)

Kurt:Unser Vater der kunst im Himmel, geheiligt dein Name sein, dein Königreich kommen, dein Wille ist erfolgt, auf Masse, wie sie im Himmel ist. Uns diesen Tag geben unser tägliches Brot. Uns unseren tresspasses verzeihen, wie wir für Geben die, die tresspass agianst wir. Und uns in temtation nicht führen, aber uns vom übel liefern.

(He looks up at the two girls standing next to him. he pats the seat next to him)

Kurt: Schwester Rogue. Come sit next to me.

(It is not a demand, but a pleading request.)

[Rogue]

(Rogue walks over and sits next to Kurt, her brother it finally hits her.)

Rogue: When ah foudn out ah just had ta tell ya. Ah know its hard and ah don't expect ya ta just accept it. Hell, ah can't even grasp it yet. But ah am your sista. For so long ah thought that ah was alone in this world. Now that this has come ta light ah have someone else out there. Ah just want ya ta know that ah am here ta help ya anyway ah can and that ya don't hafta be alone anymore. Ah didn't want ta hurt ya by telling ya this ah only wanted ta help.

(Rogue drops her head into her hands and lets the tears fall she has been holding back.)

[Nightcrawler]

(Kurt puts a comforting hand on his sister's shoulder.)

Kurt: Danke mien Schwester. You have done the right thing by telling me this. But you have something wrong. I have never been alone. Not really. Whenever I feel lonely, I pray to Gott to give me strength. He has yet to fail me or abandon me. Look to Gott Rogue, and find peace.

[Rogue]

Rogue: Ya know how ah feel about tha but lets not get into it right now. Let's try and lighten the mood a little . . . . what do ya think of our new friend here.

(Rogue looks to Liz)

Rogue: She reminds ya of someone huh

(Rogue giggles a little)

[Nightcat]

(Liz steps behind the sibilings, keeping the tail connection she looks from Rogue to Kurt and laughs)

[Nightcrawler]

(Kurt turns in his seat at looks at the young girl standing behind him.)

Kurt: She looks just like I did at eighteen. Same height and build too. If it were not for your eyes liebchen, I would think I was looking in a mirror. Where do you come from?

[Nightcat]

(Liz blushes at the name "sweetheart". She draws herself up to her full height)

Liz: I come from a small town in Germany. Quite close to yours actually. About a year and a half ago my parents tried to sell me to the same circus that you were in. But they said "Nien. Bt we will send her so be in freak show in America." That is how I got here. I found ECKS at another mansion about a year ago. Then I moved mit to this new mansion and now I am here, sitting next to the man that I have wanted to meet my whole life.

[Rogue]

Rogue: Aww sugah. It seems ya have a fan. . . . .

[Nightcrawler]

(Kurt himself is blushing, but you can't really see thanks to the dense indigo fur that covers his body.)

Kurt: Danke liebchen. That means a lot to know that there is someone out there who has gone through the exact same thing that I have gone through. And it means a lot for me to have someone look up to me.

[Rogue]

Rogue: Ah hate to break up the little whateva this is . . . but ah need ta ask ya now. Are ya going ta come with us ta find Mystique

[Nightcrawler]

(Kurt turns attention back to his sister. He has a very serious look in his demonic face.)

Kurt: Ja. I am coming. There ist something that Mystique needs to hear from her Sohn.

[Rogue]

(Rogue wraps her arms around Kurt and hugs him for the first time.)

Rogue: Ah am glad that ah found you, big brotha.

(Rogue lets go of Kurt and hits her communicator to tell ECKS the news.)

(Kurt sits stock still, tail pulsing as it grips Liz's.)

Kurt: Bitte schon Schwester.
