Assault on Omega...

[Nightcat]

(Liz rounds a corner to see Radar on the ground with Christina at his side. Not knowing if her brand of healing would do anything, Liz take off her gloves and places them on his wounds. Using her telekineses, she manages to stop the flow of blood and gives his a moment to clot to form scabs. After a minute, the process is done. Liz then turns to Christina.)

Liz: Es ist now up to him if he vishes to go on fighting.

[Wolf]

(Chaze flies through a wall and lands atop a bunch of rubble. He staggers to his feet to see Deschain's forces, Thetas, and Omega soldier all fighting outside. Most are using their weapons as clubs because their ammo has worn out. As the Theta approaches, it snarls and charges it's new cannon again. Wolf whimpers because he knows he can't survive another weak blow like that. As the gun clicks, Deschain appears in the background and holds up the Blade of Apocalypse. Wolf's eyes grow larger as he wonders just what Deschain wants with the sword.)

Deschain: Come on boys. We're outta here.

(Over a hundred extra soldiers pour over the hill flanking Omega and fire RPG's into the base. The rockets blow up buildings, people, and allies alike. Wolf looks on in utter confusion as Deschain's soldiers run up the hill and disappear over it's crest. The Theta's and Omega soldiers take cover as all of this happens. Even Wolf's Theta runs off as Wolf looks on. Soon all is quiet except for the flames spreading. Wolf checks himself to make sure everything is okay. Then he turns and runs back to see about Liz and Christina.)

[Radar]

(Matthews slowly opened his eyes. He wasn't surprised to find himself dead tired and in pain. He opened his eyes to no use and weakly sniffed the air. He could feel a warm hand clutching him and he instantly recognized Christina's floral scent. He had memorized it unwillingly, the aroma burned into his brain forever. He reached up slowly and felt a hand take his. He smiled and tried to speak, but all that came out was a whisper. He swallowed hard again, and decided it was time to give up. Maybe he wasn't supposed to live to see the war over. Maybe he was supposed to die right here. He wasn't one to tempt fate so he closed his eyes and surrendered. As he started to fade away, he thought one last time of the rubix cube.)

"Guess we all leave some sort of business unfinished."

(Darkness consumed him and he didn't resist.)

[Oracle]

(Christina looked at Radar and held his hand. She saw when he returned to consciousness and tried to speak, but she couldn't hear him. Then he let his head fall again as he began to fade away. Christina checked for his heartbeat again and heard that it was fading.)

Christina: Oh God, Liz... he's dying. Go find Dr. Catoire. Hurry.

(Christina began to perform CPR to revive him. Radar has saved her three times already. She owed him, and she wasn't going to let him die.)

[Nightcat]

(Liz nods and teleports away. When she returns, she is still alone, but she is carrying a seringe. Opening the top to expose the needle, she plunges it into Radar's chest. Pushing the punger down, the liquid inside flows inward. She then looks back up at Christina.)

Liz: I just gave him a dose of adrenaline. Es vill help restart his heart, but ve vill need to keep going vith the CPR. Und for his vounds... CHAZE!! I NEED YOU OVER HERE NOW!!!

(Liz smile meekly at Christina.)

Liz: His bites heal. He can help.

[Wolf]

(Chaze came running around the corner, an AK in his hands. When he saw Liz and Christina bent over someone though, he sighed in relief. Neither of them seemed to be hurt and he hurried over to them. As he neared, he saw Matthews lying in a small pool of blood. Chaze quickly spun to make sure no hostile contacts were around before he kneeled next to them.)

Chaze: Hey guys, are you okay?

(Chaze stopped Christina's CPR momentarily, as he clicked his fangs together. He took a breath in and the health inducing serum in his canines ran into his mouth. As that happened, he used his long claws to dig the bullets out of Radar's body. If Matthews had been conscious, he would have spewed obscenities everywhere. Chaze finished his bloody work and healed Radar's wounds with quick bites to the chest, arm, and kneecap. As the adrenaline began to take effect, Chaze picked up Matthews and slung him over his shoulder.)

Chaze: Right, let's get out of here.

[Oracle]

(Before Christina stands up, she notices Matthews's rubix cube once again. She picks it up and carries it for Matthews as she and Liz begin to follow Chase down the hallways.)

Christina: Where exactly are we going? Do you know what's going on around here? Who were those guys?

[Nightcat]

(Liz had been running on two legs like a normal human but this was slowing her down and she couldn't keep up. Soon she decided to drop down onto all-fours and by doing soon she was able to catch up to the others.)

Liz: Mein zoughts exactly Chaze. Ze vanted somezing from zis place. But ve have to get back to ze medical ving. Ve can not just leave Chris behind.

[Wolf]

Chaze: From what I gathered, they were a bunch of mutant and human soldiers led by a man named Deschain. But that's all I know. Seems like Matthews would know more because Deschain also came to kill him. But whatever happens to Matthews, Deschain has the Blade of Apocalypse.

(The four round the corner and burst through the double doors of the medical wing. They enter into ECKS's room and Chaze lays Matthews down in a chair. His wounds are healed, but he's comatose due to the excessive amount of blood loss. Chaze looks around to make sure everything's okay, and then steps over to Liz. He gives her a quick hug and kisses the top of her head.)

Chaze: Hey, you okay?

[Nightcat]

(Liz smiles shyly up at him. However, the smile soon fades.)

Liz: Ja. I am fine at ze moment. I am just vorried about everyzing else. I can sense Chris still fighting off Nur und I know zat ze ozers are on zeir vay, but I am scared. Es seems as if ve are living for just ze next moment now. Ve never know vhen ve might be attacked next.

[Wolf]

(Chaze frowns at one of Liz's sentences and eyes her suspiciously.)

Chaze: What do you mean, "Others are on their way?" Whose on thier way?

[Nightcat]

(Liz bit her lower lip, knowing that he might not trust the others.)

Liz: Ze ozers from ze mansion. Somezing tells me zat zey are on zeir vay. Do not vorry. I am sure zat everyzing vill be fine.

(As a sign of affection and comfort, Liz brings her long tail up to rest on his shoulder and smiles up at him.)

[Wolf]

(Wolf lets out a sigh of regret. When he sees Liz's puzzled face he shakes his head.)

Chaze: If your friends are coming, they're going to have to be dealt with. I doubt Smith is going to be enthusiastic about more mutants coming to Omega.

(Chaze sighs once more and kisses the top of Liz's head.)

[Nightcat]

(Liz sighs in agreement. She knows that her "family's" want to be there to fight might end up killing one of them. But she also knows that they will be strong.)

Liz: I know. But ve vill get zrough zis. I have more control over vhat Nur does to me. Maybe vhen zey come, I should bring him to ze surface.

[Wolf]

(Wolf shakes his head. An idea forming in his mind already.)

Chaze: No, let me get out there and talk to them. I don't have as much control over Nur as you do, but I do know how to negotiate when the time comes.

(Chaze takes Liz's face in his paws and is about to lick her face, when he realizes he's still in wolf-form. He changes back and kisses her.)

Chaze: I'll make it look good for Smith if you want, but I'll make sure they won't be hurt. They may have to be captured though.

(Chaze looks at Liz to see her reaction.)
