(Matthews smiles at Liz's words and nods.)
Radar: You got it blue lady. But if I do take your orders, make sure they're good orders and that we don't get caught. Because then I won't be able to help you anymore. I'll be dead.
(Matthews picks up Ana and clicks his tongue to the roof of his mouth. The small sound wave lets him see Liz and Christina before he leaves. As he does, he laughs.)
Radar: Ha, who's going to kill Chaze? You?
(Radar continues out of the room, Ana in tow.)

(Liz blinks once as he leaves the room. Under her breath she mutters.)
Liz: Unfortunatly.
(Turning back to Chaze, she walks over to him and kisses him on the forehead.)
Liz: Vake up. I know zat you can und have been hearing everyzing zat has happened.

(Chaze opens his eyes, and stares into Liz's blood red pupils. He sighs and strokes her head carefully.)
Wolf: I'll be leaving in a few hours to find Magneto. Please, be careful. I want to come back and be able to see you doing just fine.
(Chaze sits up with alarming speed and pulls Liz's face gently towards his. He kisses her and pushes a strand of hair behind her ear.)
Wolf: You'd better be careful. I'll beat you up if you aren't.

(Liz kiss him softly back, knowing that he could be seriously hurt by the Master of Magnitism. However, she laughs at his comment.)
Liz: I know. I vill be fine. I vill smack Matthews around a bit just for you. Just promise me zat you vill be careful. Magneto ist very powerful. Do not bring any metal vith you. I suggest a cure veapon. Ve already know zat es ist temporary vith him, so es vill not hurt to use es again. Just be careful.
(She leans forward and kisses him one more time.)

(Wolf smiles back at Liz.)
Wolf: Don't worry, I'll be fine. You just take care of the team. And if ECKS wakes up, tell him I'm sorry I kicked his butt earlier. I didn't mean too.
(Chaze's face turns serious then.)
Wolf: You know, we could probably do something to stop the inevitable. There are happily ever after's for people like us. And I want to spend mine with you.

Wolf: So what? If that time comes, what then? I'm not afraid of death, but I will be pissed if you of all people kill me.
(Chaze leans in once more to kiss Liz, but sees Christina looking at the two and signaling that she's uncomfortable. Instead, Chaze takes Liz's hands and presses them to his heart.)
Wolf: This is yours, and it always will be. If you choose to stop it, then it'll stop. And that's all I'm saying about that.

(Liz places her hand on Chaze's and smiles.)
Liz: I know. I vill do everyzing I can to stop es. I do not vant to be ze vone to kill you.
(Liz turns to Christina.)
Liz: Can you get Chris back to ze hospital ving? I vant to stay vith Chaze a little longer. I vill be along shortly vith Logan
(Christina nod and goes over to Chris with out a word. Liz knew that her friend was scared, but Christina was a strong girl for all that she had been through. Liz turned back to Chaze and smiles.)

(Chaze raises one of his eyebrows and looks at Liz playfully.)
Wolf: What are you planning?
(He pulls her onto the bed with him and slips his arms around her. He slides his nose underneath her chin and kisses her neck.)
Wolf: I'll be fine. We'll be fine. I can feel it. Things will work out for the best, I'm pretty sure.

(Matthews manuevers the halls of the base and makes his way past soldiers and builders working hard to repair Omega. As he continues towards Smith's office, he sees Kutal.)
Kutal: Well, well, well, look what the blind guy brought in. Is that the famous Ana we've all heard so much about.
(Matthews grits his teeth and discreetly unbuckles his holster. Kutal was responsible for the raping of Liz, he wasn't going to get ahold of another innocent and hurt her, even if she was an enemy.)
Radar: Don't you have little boy scouts to whip or something? Go on, get the hell out of here.
Kutal: Everything always comes back to me. I'm the right hand man.
Radar: And I break greedy hands, so keep yours and your men to yourselves, or I'll snap them off along with other apendages.
(Kutal's grin turned sour and he watched grimly as Radar towed Ana into Smith's office. The military scientist spun and smiled as Radar gently lowered Ana into a seat.)
Smith: Wow, good work soldier. Look at who we have here.

(Liz brought her misshapen hand up to lightly touch the scars that crossed the bridge of Chaze's nose. Her own blades had caused the marks on their second meeting. She leans in and softly kissed the tip of his nose.)
Liz: I know. As long as I have you, I know zat everyzing vill be fine. Let us just lay here next to each ozer und enjoy ze quite vhile es lasts. How does zat sound dog-boy?

Chaze: Sounds fine to me cat-woman.
(Chaze smells Liz's hair and places the sweet smell into his memory. He wants to always remember it, always remember her, but for some reason, his thoughts are clouded with his "premonition." He blinks the thoughts back and settles by Liz. As he does so, he thinks about how the two met, and how he never thought they would end up together.)

(Slowly, Liz settles down beside Chaze to the point that her low purring starts up. It had been a long time since she had made that noise. It usually ment that she was content and felt safe. Her own mind wanders to the dream Chaze had had and she knows that she has to stop it from happening, but for now, she just want to lay next to the man she loved. Soon, she was fast asleep, twiching slightly in her usual nightmares.)

(Chaze notices the low purring that Liz makes and is about to fall into the same deep sleep when he hears his walkie talkie go off. He slides one hand out from under Liz and turns it to mute. Then he carefully slides away from her and off of the bed. As she continues to sleep, Chaze kisses her lips gently and turns. He walks out of the room taking one last second to look at the unconscious "Jack" and "Kitty." He wonders what they're like and then focuses back on Liz. He smiles once more and leaves.)
(As he walks down the hallway, he turns up the volume on the walkie and finds out that his unit is ready to go to the Savage Lands. Magneto was last seen heading back to his sanctuary there, and the chopper and troops are ready. Chaze passes a room and sees Doctor Catoire walking out.)
Catoire: Going after Eric?
Chaze: Yup. Gonna give me any advice?
(Catoire pulls a gun from his being and hands it over to Chaze. It's a heavy plastic cure pistol. Chaze takes it and smiles.)
Catoire: That's my advice.
Chaze: Thanks doc.
(Chaze turns and continues down the corridor toward the chopper.)

(Still lost in the darkness of his own mind, trying to fight off the mental and physical onslaught that the infection of En Sabah Nur has caused him. But even with his superhuman healing factor he's beginning to realize that for the first time in a long time... he might lose.)
(Even though in reality he's still in the room with his friends, in his mind he's fighting a battle against a foe that he can't possibly seem to beat. No matter how hard he tries to fight, no matter what he does, he can't seem to overcome the enemy that is trying so hard to tke him over. If it can truly be called an enemy, in reality it's more of a thing, a simple virus, but in his mind he sees something else. A large figure covered in shadows. Only his eyes give him away. Their yellowish glint shining through the darkness. ECKS tries to fight back against the figure, but only hits air every time. Deep inside he knows that the figure is taunting him. Waiting until he has grown weary and tired, saving his own energy to take over completely when the time finally comes that ECKS has nothing left. And ECKS knows that contrary to what he might want to believe, he can't continue at this pace forever. Sooner or later, exhaustion will set in. It's only a matter of time. He just hopes that he can find some weakness, anything that can be exploited and used, before that happens.)
(In reality, as the fight in his mind has grown worse, he grunts and groans as he is in his head. He even speaks a few words, but most are incoherent to the friends around him. They watch in helpless silence knowing that as much as they'd like to help, this is a fight that is for ECKS alone to won or lose.)
