(Mindcontrol goes to take his seat and buckles on his seat. He ran scenarios his head if they couldn't get to Christina in time, but that wouldn't happened again. Even if Apocalypse was to rise once more, there was a small plan forming in the back of his head that maybe foolish enough to work. That plan would have to wait if his he and his team mates failed.)

(Chaze sighed. As he sat back down, he put his head into his hands. This was all so messed up. Why? That was all he could think. Why would Nur do so much to them? What had they done to him in the first place? How could someone be so evil? Chaze looked up from his fingers to see Liz in the chair ahead. He wanted so desperatley to help her any way he could, but he just didn't know how. Chaze placed his head back into his hands and closed his eyes. He just wanted this to be over with. All of it. Soon.)

(Kitty prepares the jet for landing when she notices another craft about two miles away from the tomb.)
Shadowcat: What the hell? There's no way...
(Kitty lands the jet next to the craft and then opens the door. Lockheed flies out to inspect the craft. He catches Matthews's scent and informs Kitty.)
Shadowcat: Matthews is already here?

(Chaze lifted his head and stared at Kitty.)
Wolf: You've gotta be kidding me?
(Wolf was the first one out of the X-Jet and he could also smell Radar's scent. Looking out to where the tents were, he realized that Matthews was already there. He also realized that today was the day that either the heroes could triumph, or the would could burn.)

(Liz could almost smell her Master, his time to come again was so close. Getting up from her chair, she exited the jet and walked out into the desert. This is where it all started and this is where it would end. Even though she was blind, she could tell what direction she needed to go in. Dropping to all fours, she takes off towards her Master's tomb. Suddenly, she hears the voice of a soldier.)
Soldier: Identify yourself!
(Standing up, she reaches down and draws back part of her dress to reveal her shorts, which are embossed with the "X" logo.)
Liz: May I pass or do I have to fight?
Soldier: You may pass.
(Liz drops to her hands again without another word and streaks off towards the pyramid. In her mind, she can hear Nur's voice calling her softly to his side.)

(mindcontrol exits the x-jet and breaks off into a run going following Liz to apocalypse's tome. Mindcontrol was determined to get to Christina on time. He turns to the others.)
Mindcontrol: Lets go, we're running out of time!

(Nigai groaned as he pushed himself up and bolted after Mindcontrol, catching up to him quickly. He adjusted his weapons and pulled his staff of his back getting ready for anything.)
Nigai: Alright! Lets go!

(Kitty ran after the others as Wolf following in pursuit and Lockheed flew overhead. As Kitty runs she complains about Matthews's decision.)
Shadowcat: Wasn't he the one who told us not to charge in, powers blasting?
(She scoffed after her statement and continued to run at they neared the entrance to the tomb.)

(Wolf looked at the stationed soldiers and who let them pass with their "X" symbols on. Matthews had beaten them there, but he wasn't so sure about Kitty's statement. Seeing the dead soldiers on a platform, Wolf could almost tell that Matthews had used discretion. It was then, that he smelled blood. He knew the scent well, bland and raw. At the smell, Wolf slows down to a stop.)
Chaze: I think we might be too late.

(He sniffed the air noticing what wolf had smelled and it made him very uneasy.)

(What Chaze just said made him feel worried. Has it been too late, is Apocalypse awaken once again. Mindcontrol and the others continued running, when Mindcontrol felt the same dark powerful force that he once felt when using Cerebro. This just gave Mindcontrol his answer.)

(Chaze, after smelling the blood, was the first one to reach the little platform. He looked down, straining his eyes to see through the mist that had risen up. Suddenly, the mist cleared, and he could see everything as clear as day. Chris, Logan, Ana, and Eric all standing erect. Liz was bowing down gracefully. The corpse of Matthews and Christina lay on the floor of the temple. The soldiers, in awe, with lowered weapons. Smith staring at the resurrected Apocalypse with wide eyes. Then Apocalypse himself. The demon that had caused Wolf so much trouble throughout all of these weeks. The anger, despair, and hopelessness that all flooded into Chaze simultaneously made tears come to his eyes.)
Wolf: NOOOOOO, YOU SON OF A B!TCH!

(Nigai stood wide-eyed at the strange being before him. For some odd reason he didn't feel afraid of this creature. His head tilted and he shifted his eyes to look at Wolf. They needed to do something fast.)
