(Matthews Johnson walked through the debris of Omega. His vision was clearing. The blackness had become a dark gray and then almost clear. He could make out shapes and he could almost make out colors. As excited as he was to be getting his vision back, he withheld the joy and replaced it with dread. His home, Omega, was now gone. He didn't know where he would go if he survived his Egypt trip. He ran through his mind for things to do afterwards, but nothing came up. Nothing, except the "job." Right now, he couldn't fathom the thought.)
(Doctor Catoire was safe in the only hangar Smith didn't destroy. He wouldn't destroy the hangar that held all of the money. He had set the good doctor down inside of a helicoptor and had grabbed the biggest gun he could find. The .357 Magnum felt light in his hand. Maybe that was because of his new mission, or maybe his new target. Or maybe it was just because he felt like nothing mattered anymore. Whatever the cause, Radar walked into the room and a tear fell down his cheek.)
(The Super Theta floated inside of its underwater cell. Its four gigantic arms floated harmlessly at its sides. It actually looked peaceful. Peaceful for a gigantic fifteen foot monstrosity with a cannon on its arm that could disintegrate a skyscraper. Radar wondered how many people it took to make the monster. He felt sorry for it. Smith had been playing God, making life that would never be used for anything but evil. So it was with a heavy heart that Matthews Johnson hit the release button. As the water drained, spilling cold liquid at Radar's feet, the Super Theta opened its eyes. Matthews raised his gun and cocked back the hammer.)
Radar: Please God, forgive me.
(Matthews pulled the trigger and the Theta fell to the floor dead.)
