(Just moments after the struggle at the motel between Radar and Christina the distinct sound of a Harley can be heard getting louder as it gets closer. ECKS sniffs the air a few times then follows Christina's scent into the motel parking lot. He notices the manager's office is locked up tight as he parks and shut off his bike. But it doesn't matter, he doesn't need a room number, he can follow the scent to the right room. And soon he realizes that he doesn't even need to follow the scent, he can follow the trail of damage.)
ECKS: "Damn, looks like I might be too late."
(ECKS rushes to the room and steps into the doorway, ready for whatever's on the other side. But there's nothing, some scattered clothes, some things knocked over from the struggle. But two new scents, one faintly familiar. He growls at the very thought of name.)
ECKS: "Smith. Whoever was here has been in close contact with Smith, and now that I got his scent, trackin' him will be a sinch. Maybe he'll even lead me right to Smith himself so I can finish what I started."
(Running full speed, ECKS hops back on his bike, cranks it up, takes a quick sniff of the air, then jets off in the direction of the hummer.)

(About a mile or so down the trail, ECKS stops and pulls over. He starts thinking to himself.)
ECKS: They stopped here. She was ahead of him. He was chasin' her. Some kinda struggle started.
(He bends over and picks up a stray dart, from the smell he picks up on two things.)
ECKS: This was filled the same tranquilizer they used at the mansion and at some point it stabbed into Christina, probably somewhere around her leg. Then he dragged her this way, probably to a vehicle he had stashed. Or maybe that he stole. The tire marks look similar to a hummer. Smells the same, too. That's my target then. Made the mistake of keeping the window rolled down, too. I can smell the stink of him like he was still standing here now. I'll be able to follow his trail like bread crumbs all the way home.
(ECKS walks back to his bike, hops on, starts it up, and stops for a second. He looks around, sniffs the air to find the right direction, then revs the engine a few times and takes off again.)

(ECKS continues to follow the trail as it again brings heads off the road, this time to a convenience store. He stops the bike again and walks over to the spot in the parking lot where the scent is strongest.)
ECKS: They stopped here. Groceries. He actually had the nerve to stop and buy groceries. He'll pay for that arrogance when I catch'em. Some kind of muffins, some milk, and some kind of alcohol. Probably vodka. Wait.
(He sniffs the air again. This time picking up Christina actually outside the truck.)
ECKS: Least this proves she's still alive. He let her out, too. She got some coffee then came back to the truck. Maybe I can pick them up on the store's camera so I can get an idea of who I'm lookin' for. Smells like they were here only a few hours ago, so I'm gainin' on'em, too.
(He makes his way into the store and find the cashier.)
ECKS: "Hey, bub. You got a security camera here, I'm lookin' for someone I think was here a few hours ago?"
Cashier: "Yeah. Right back there, oversees the whole store. You a cop or what?"
ECKS: "Not exactly. That gonna be a problem?"
Cashier: "I can't let you see the tapes unless you have some kind of warrant or at least a badge or some kind of I.D."
(ECKS flashes his claws, then quickly retracts them. The cashier is instantly intimidated and gives in.)
Cashier: "Right away, sir. Uh, Rachel, this guy wants to see our security tapes. Let him see whatever he wants, ok?"
(From the back a female voice is heard.)
Rachel: "Ok, Seth. No Problem."
Seth: "Right back there, sir."
(ECKS goes to the back to meet Rachel. She pulls the tape from the recorder and puts it in the VCR.)
Rachel: "About how far back did you wanna go on this?"
ECKS: "Not sure. A few hours at least."
(She rewinds the tape until they see Christina enter by herself to by the coffee, and use the phone. Wondeing who she might've called he tells Rachel to go back just a little more, until he sees a man buying a bottle of vodka. Knowing that's the guy he'sooking for he watches closely, memorizing his face and his mannerisms. But this can't be right, the man appears to be blind.)
ECKS: "How the hell could he... Nevermind. I saw what I needed to see. Thank you. Thank you both."
(ECKS rushes back out to his bike and takes off yet again. The trail is getting stronger with every mile. And now he has a face to go with the scent he's following.)
