For Every End...

[ECKS]

(Within minutes Avriletta and ECKS arrive back at the jet, he is still holding Sonima. After being set down he carries her inside and sets her on one of the foldout medical beds toward the back of the jet. He just looks at her, he wants to say something but is having trouble with the words.)

ECKS: "I'm sorry... I'm sorry it had to be like this. I wish there'd been another way. But someone once told me, that for every end, there's a beginning. You gave your life, you gave me a chance to end it so that we could go on. Thank you for that chance, I won't waste it."

(Kneeling down, he gets close to Sonima's face.)

ECKS: (in a whisper)"You'll always be an X-Man in my book, Sonima. Always. Give Chuck my best reguards."

(After taking a second he stands back up. He looks to Avriletta, then removes his gloves and loosens the collar on his jacket a little.)

ECKS: "Good job today, Avril. You're part of the team now. Welcome aboard."

(ECKS smiles with approval for a few moments before taking a second to check on the status of the strike team. He contacts the remaining members.)

ECKS: "This is ECKS, what's your status out there guys, over?"

[ECKS]

(ECKS recieves the transmission from Ana and acts accordingly, getting the jet ready for take off.)

ECKS: "Loud and clear, I'm already there."

(The jet lifts off the ground and rockets full speed toward the team's extraction point.)

[avriletta]

(Avriletta looks at ECKS) then approches him touching him gentely on the shoulder getting his attention)

Lil'a: umm sir do you mind calling me Lil'A, or even just A i know it's a nick name y'all'r giv'n me but - oh never mind just call me A. . . . . . . And thanks for the praise i haven't heard so much as a thanks in years.

(she smile warmly and backs away)
