Ok, I've noticed that a couple of the people who have taken real characters, namely Phoenix and Gambit, have not posted in a while. And I had an idea that at some point, someone else may want to join as a character that's already taken, but not currently being used.
So, to remedy this situation should it ever occur I had this idea. Let's say for instance if someone joined and wanted to be Gambit, who currently is controled by Victor but is inactive, I will give the current holder, Victor, 14 days to check in and answer. However, if after 14 days he remains inactive the character will be transferred to the person asking for it so long as they still want it.
I think 14 days is plenty of time to notice that someone wants to take your character and use it for themselves especially if the current user has been inactive for quite a while, which Victor has been, meaning that he probably won't be returning.
I think this is a pretty fair way to do this, but if anyone has a better or more fair idea, please, feel free.

By the way, I just used Victor/Gambit as an example. It doesn't mean he's not coming back or that someone else has asked to be Gambit. I just used him to make a point for this new rule.
