(Christina lets out a small moan as the effects of the tranquilzer begins to wear off. She picks up her head and opens her eyes. She sees through the opening in the tent that the sun is just starting to rise, but it was already hot. She tries to wipe the sweat from her forehead, but she notices that her hands are secured in the back of the chair she was placed in. She tests the strength of her restaints, but she cannot overcome them.)
Smith: Don't even try it... Besides even if you do escape, you won't even be able to survive in the desert.
(Christina sees Smith just enter the tent. She also notices a female soldier standing outside who glances every now and then at Christina and tries to listen in on what's being said. But the thing that concerns Christina more is the fact that Smith has the Blade of Apocalypse in his hands. He plays with the sword in his hands while he continues to speak to Christina.)
Smith: After all these years of research and planning, everything has come into place. Soon Nur will be awaken and then with his power, mutants will become extinct species. What do you say to that, knowing it will be your blood that gives me the power to bring the destruction to all mutants?
(Smith points the blade to where the tip just presses against Christina's neck. Christina is afraid to even breathe, but from the blade's tip, Christina receives a vision. She sees the vision of her death once again but after she finally sees Apocalypse's resurrection. As soon as he rises, he raises his hand and everyone in the tomb, with the exception of his horsemen, is wasted away to oblivion. Christina finally starts to breathe deeply as her eyes return to normal. She sees Smith is still wanting on her answer.)
Christina: You won't be able to control him. He's too powerful, and he'll kill you and everyone there as soon as he's alive.
Smith: So now you're trying to warn me... Is that it? You warn your enemy, but then you just simply let your father die.
(Christina looks away from Smith. She tries to ignore him, but he forces Christina's attention as he continues.)
Smith: Why didn't you tell your father about your vision, afraid of what he would think of his only child becoming a mutant? Regardless, the fact is that you could have saved him, but you didn't. That makes you accountable for his death. Not to mention the deaths of your friends back at the base. They came trying to rescue you, but you only led them to their deaths. Even Matthews...
(Christina was already trying to hide her tears from Smith. She didn't want to hear anymore. The woman waiting outside seemed to be listening very carefully to this part.)
Smith: Although he was a mutant, he was probably one of my best soldiers. But somehow, you changed him, made him a traitor. Therefore, I had no choice but to kill him. And just for you to know, your name was his last word.
(Christina felt herself fall apart, and she was now sobbing uncontrollably. Smith felt as if a strong wind has just picked up and figured it must be her telekinesis. So Smith quickly exited the tent with triumpth of his face. Jehia standing outside the tent looks at Smith with confusion.)
Jehia: Sir, may I ask what was the purpose of that, Sir?
Smith: With Oracle realizing she has nothing left to live for and that she blames for the death of her loved ones, then she will no longer resist our plans. Simply, she now wishes for death. She won't cause any more trouble.
(Jehia nods her head in agreement as she watches Smith walk off to see the progress on locating Nur's sarcophagus inside the tomb. She keeps her eye on the blade that Smith always kept on his person. Soon, when Smith had no further use for the blade.... She looks back at Christina in the tent. She was completely distraught; she seemed like she would welcome her near death. Jehia wonders herself how did this girl had such an affect on Matthews. She decides not to think of it and returns to her duties, leaving Christina to herself in her last hours alive.)
