Hello everyone. I'm a new staff member here, but I have plenty of RP experience, and good imagination. I would like to address an issue that particularly runs me hot. When you post any message, or any role play, please USE THE SPELL CHECKER. I know my colleague, ECKS, has stressed this enough. And also, there is no punctuation checker, but please try to punctuate as correctly as possible. I'm not askin' for perfection here. I am pretty sure that all of the members have completed grammar school, (I hope), so it would be nice if your role plays reflected that. Again, we don't ask for perfection, just intelligence, or common sense rather. It is difficult to produce a mental image of what you are reading when it is next to impossible to read. Those of you that use your education, thank you, I enjoy reading your posts. Those of you who take your brain out and play with it, well maybe you should consider a new hobby.

You're in the ninth grade. Grammer school ends with the graduation of elementary school.

If you are 14 and in the 2nd grade then I completely understand. You probably ride the short bus, and can't even spell you're own name. I apologize, Rain Man.

Actually I kinda understand where Critical Mass is comin' from. Every time you make a post it gives you the option to use a spell checker. And I'm not perfect so I always use the spell checker before posting anything, no matter how long it is.
Personally, and maybe it's just me, but I don't like it when people use letters in place of words, i.e., "u" instead of "you," or "o" in place of "oh."
I'm not saying that anyone's in trouble for using it, and I know that some characters use mispellings to account for grammar like myself as ECKS, or Rogue, or Gambit, and I'm cool with that. Things like "goin'" instead of "going" or "runnin'" for "running." "Mutha" for "mother." That's just an accent thing, I'm from Texas so I have a certain southern accent for certain words, that's why I spell certain words like that. But there's really no need for the whole "u" for "you" thing, it just looks kinda silly to me.
So please, if you're not mispelling words as part of a dialogue accent, use the spell checker and correct the mispelled words not used to have an accent.
