ECKS: "Liz has a point. Sure, Christina has visions, or premonitions. But how do we know that she's the one he wants? We don't know if he even knows about her at all. But..."
(ECKS pauses for a second before looking at Christina, then back at Magneto.)
ECKS: "But I'm not willin' to take that chance. While there's a chance that the legend is referrin' ta someone else, there's just about as good a chance that it is referrin' ta her. She has the gift, and I know Smith. He won't take the time to discriminate one 'sighted' mutant from another, he'll take her even if she isn't really the one just to make sure she's not. In fact he'll probably gather as many possible 'sighted' mutants as he can just to test them all until he finds the right one."
ECKS: "I don't know how yet, but I think it's time to get in the middle of this. If we wait here, eventually he will find us. Our only chance may be to strike back. No more waitin' while he hunts us. It's time to take the fight to Smith."
(He looks around the room, hoping someone, anyone has a helpful suggestion on what their first move should be.)

Liz: Es ist not that I do not agree vith you ECKS but ve do not even know vhere Smith ist. He could be anyvhere in ze vorld if he looking for a "sighted" mutant. But ve do need to make ze first move. Ozervise, he might catch us off guard.

(ECKS stops to think for a minute then quickly looks up. He turns his attention to Binary, then to the rest of the group.)
ECKS: "So we tell him where we are."
(They all look at him as though he's just gone mad.)
Ana: "Babe, I think you're not feeling well. We can't tell Smith where we are, he'll storm this place with everything he has."
ECKS: "Exactly."
Ana: "Did I miss something?"
ECKS: "It's obvious that Smith is searchin' for us, right? So we bring him to us where we can ambush him right here were we have the home advantage. Binary can send out a signal, somethin' not to obvious to be read as a trap but easy enough for him to find on whatever he's usin' ta search. Meanwhile, we make preparations here at the Mansion so that when he storms the place he'll be trappin' himself, makin' it easy for us to flank him and pick off his soldiers."
ECKS: "We all know this place better than him. Even if finds some kind of online blueprints for it there's still plenty of hidey holes that he won't know about. I think making a stand here is probably our best chance."

(Kitty thought at first ECKS had gone crazy, but after he explained himself, he made a point.)
Shadowcat: That plan means taking a big risk, and it sounds completely crazy. But maybe it's crazy enough to work.

(Binary looks at ECKS like he's gone nuts, until after ECKS explains)
Binary: That is a very, very good idea. besides...I can make sure that whatever blueprints he finds WON'T have certain features......like 50 percent of the defensive armaments........and some extras that aren't there.........he'll never know what hit him.
(he then just smiles and laughs quietly to himself)

ECKS: "It is crazy, and it is a bit dangerous. But honestly I'd rather take my chances on him findin' us when we want him to and when we can be ready for him than take my chances on him findin' us when we're completely unprepared."
Ana: "I agree. At least if we do it like this we can be ready by the time he gets here. That's better than waiting around for him to just how up and surprise us. Maybe Binary can even add a few things to the blueprints that aren't really there to throw him off a little."
ECKS: "I know that this a plan that comes with a great deal of risk. But it's the only plan I've got so far and like Kitty said, it may just be crazy enough to work. But if anyone wants to leave, if anyone feels like this is a risk they're not willin' ta take, then let me know and I'll have you transported to the Xavier Mansion. I won't think any less of you if decide to leave, I know this is puttin' us all in danger, but somebody has to stand up to Smith and his army. And I intend to do just that."
Ana: "You know me, babe, I'm always ready for a good scrap. I'm not going anywhere. Besides, I owe Smith."
(The two of them look around waiting to hear the choices from the rest of the team.)

(Liz stepped forward, her tail swinging high and her eyes bright.)

(Kitty looks over to Christina. Her face is still somewhat pale in fright when the discussion of the mutant sacrifice came.)
(Christina held her head down and began to think. She remembered something her father told her when she was getting picked on at school. He told her there will always be a time to run or a time to fight. And she had been running since the day her powers returned and she was getting sick of running. She was sick of being afraid. She needed to be tough just as her father had taught her to be. So, she picks up her head, looks at ECKS, and nods her head to silently say that she too will stay and fight.)

ECKS: "Thank you. Thank you all. This is a lot to ask of you I know. Risking your very home, the placed you lived for months now. I can't guarantee victory this time. But I can guarantee that we won't go down easy. We will not take this lyin' down and if Smith wants us for some dark reason he's gonna have to come in here and take us. And I'm not about to let him get anyone in this room. Yes, even you."
(He passes a quick glances to Magneto.)
ECKS: "So if we're all in agreement with this plan we need to get everythin' ready. Binary, you take Liz, get whatever you need to start sendin' the signal. But just get it ready, call me, I'll let you know when ta send it. I wanna get everythin' else ready first. The rest of you meet me in my office, I've got the layout for the mansions defense systems on my computer. I wanna go around to each of the systems in person to check their operational status."
(He looks back to Magneto.)
ECKS: "As for you, for now you don't leave my sight. And just so you're warned, when the fightin' starts, you give me any reason to think you're only here for yourself and not to help us you won't have to worry 'bout Smith, you'll answer to me."
ECKS: "Everyone understand where we are with this?"

(Liz nods her dark head, knowing what ECKS was asking from them all. She fiddles with her gloves in anticipation. She turns to Binary.)

(He turns to the rest of the group.)
ECKS: "Ok, grab your gear or anything you might need and meet me in my office. I'm gonna start pullin' up the mansions schematics so we can start a full check of the defensive and weapons systems."
(ECKS leaves the room, followed by Ana and Magneto. Who for the moment, at least, seems willing to cooperate.)

(Liz goes over to the computer that is set into the far wall. She types in her password and enters the mainframe at lightning speed.)
Liz: Joseph. Over here. Zis computer has a direct uplink to Evelina. Ve can also use es to moniter ze outside of ze mansion.

(Binary just nods and walks over to Liz. He then sits down and touches the computer.)
Binary: Evelina?
Evelina:System Online and operating at 100% capacity, How may I assist you?
Binary Well.......right now, could you run a full diagnostic, concentrating on the defenses of the mansion, route the results to whatever monitor is closest to ECKS...and, umm.....how about a search of the premises using whatever detection equipment available....route that to ECKS as well, please..........and now, I recreate the mansion.
(He then begins the hour long job of putting subtle hints of the Mansions existence back in place.......and not allowing any evidence of tampering go with them........at the end of his job, anyone looking hard enough would find building permits,power and tax records, and the purchase of multiple electronic systems......as well as a map of the grounds with an extra 3 gun locations put in such a location that it would be impossible to detect unless you were literally right on top of them, and 4 security cameras with attached guns missing from the blueprints.)
