(Liz pads into the Briefing room alone. She slips on her gloves that she had retrieved from the Danger Room before coming here. She approaches the large computer screen and keyboard, types in her password, turns around, and waits for the others.)

(ECKS enters the room not long after Liz, he takes his seat at the end of the table and waits for everyone else to get in before starting anything.)
ECKS: "I take it everyone's on there way? I haven't even decided how I wanna play this yet, I guess the main thing is just gettin' everyone on alert for whatever's comin'."

(Liz nods her head and turns back to the screen. She types in a command and the security Cameras show up. Liz smiles and points out the top left screen.)
Liz: Chris. Es looks like Rogue und Gambit are back.

(ECKS looks up to see both Gambit and Rogue entering the room.)
ECKS: "Let's just say it's been a little more quiet with you two gone. But it's good to have you both back. Sorry it had to be under these circumstances, but it can't be helped. In fact, we may end up in this war very soon, I hope your vacation hasn't caused either of you to lose your 'edge.' 'Cause believe me, you're gonna need it."
(He checks the time on the clock hanging over the doorway.)
ECKS: "Ana and Kitty should be back soon, once everyone's here we can begin."

(Varalf walks in, nods to his comrades, then leans against the wall at the back of the room. He shifts his spear to let it rest easier against him and waits for the briefing to start.)

(Kitty and Ana come into the room together. Ana rushes over to ECKS to find out what's going on.)
Ana: "What's going on? What's so important?"
(She looks into his eyes and waits for his answer.)

(ECKS just looks back at her, not quite knowing what to say.)
ECKS: "It would seem that someone has been looking for us. Me and you, along with Wolverine and Magneto. I don't have all the details yet, that's why I called everybody in. I wanted to share what we've discovered so far."
(He checks the room to see if anyone's missing.)
ECKS: "As soon as Binary gets here, I'll have him explain just what he found out about these people. He knows a lot more about them than I do at this point."

(Liz's ears perk up at the sound of Kevin's code name. She turns to face the group at large.)
Liz: I zink zat you should do ze explaining Chris. Kevin vill be out cold for quite some time. He did two uplinks to Evelina vithin twelve hours and hasn't had any sleep for almost zree days. Let him sleep.

(Liz turns to face Rogue.)
Liz: Binary or Kevin is a new recruit zat arrived yesterday night. He can connect his mind to any device zat has a computer chip. At ze present time, he must physically touch ze device, but he ist learning how to do vithout ze contact. Und Evelina ist ze name of ze Danger Room. Kevin figured out zat she ist self-avare. Und Kevin connected to Evelina tvice today.
