(Christina, asleep with her head against the window, is awaken when the 18-wheeler comes to a stop. She had spent about 1 to 2 hours walking until a good samartian pulled over for her. She jerks up as the cabin shakes after the brakes had been applied.)
Driver: We're in the city.
Christina: Thanks. I'll walk from here. Here, for your troubles.
(Christina hands the man $100 and gets out of the cabin. She walks into the station and gets some water to drink. The driver also enters the station and buys a newspaper. As Christina pays for her water, she looks over at the stack of newspapers and notices a familiar picture in the bottom corner of the paper. It is a picture of her. The picture was taken at a gymnastic competition with the whole team, but just Christina's face appeared in the newspaper, along with an article.)
...When police arrived at the suspect's housing, it appeared as if the mutant had just escaped. Using a photograph found in the apartment, the victim clearly identified the mutant in the attack as Christina Collins. She was last seen in the Manhattan area, heading south. Citizens are to approach with caution. She is considered highly powerful and dangerous. Any information about her current whereabouts...
(Christina quickly grabs her water, not caring about her change, and rushes out of the station. As the driver opens the newspaper to read, he also notices the picture. He quickly reads and looks up. Christina was already running as fast as she could down the street, keeping her head down from being recognized.)
