Tired...

[Shadowcat]

(Kitty walks into her room and closes the door behind her. She is so tired from the mission that she doesn't even change out of her uniform. She doesn't even bother with the sheets on the bed as she lies down, closes her eyes, and immediately falls asleep. Lockheed flies to the foot of her bed and lies down.)

[Shadowcat]

(Kitty wakes up the next morning. She didn't realize how tired she was until she saw how long she had slept. Lockheed was restless the entire time, but he likes to stay close to Kitty. So he spent his time playing target practice by flying around, throwing pieces of papers, and shooting fire at them.)

Shadowcat: Lockheed!

(He looks up to see his master awake and stopped suddenly by landing on the floor.)

Shadowcat: You shouldn't do that in the mansion. What would have happened if you would have missed?

(Lockheed lowers his head as a means of apology. Kitty shakes her head, climbs out of bed, and changes out of her uniform. She puts on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. She turns around and sees Lockheed still has his head down.)

Shadowcat: If you want, I'll see if we can go to the danger room so you can practice, okay?

(Lockheed picks his head up and growls in approval. He flies onto Kitty's shoulder.)

Shadowcat: Come on. Lets go get some breakfast first. I know you're hungry.

(Lockheed growls louder in approval as Kitty walks out of the room and heads down stairs to the kitchen.)
