(Liz and Kevin arrive in a darkened room that lights up as the two of them appear. Liz lets go of Kevin and she takes a step back.)

(Binary shakes his head, trying to clear the fuzziness.......just as it clears, he hears Evelina)
Evelina:Joseph,there is an intruder on the grounds......Iam monitoring all electronic emissions originating from him, however it is extremely difficult to maintain a solid lock on either the contents or the location, however there are with a 95.632% probability two connections. One is a shielded radio up-link to within a 74% probability, the other is a GPS tracking signal, 100% probability.
Binary: Uh...huh? oh, OK (He shakes his head once more to clear it).....um, could you play the last transmission from the radio up-link?
Evelina: Scanning......Scanning...Scan- Playback~ [Static] [three voices in various pitches saying such enlightening things as: "The bicycle is red", and "I only want a donut"]
Binary:.........uh.....okay.....REALLY advanced encryption software on this one.......(suddenly an idea hits him) Oh my god....I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier.......Evelina, I need a VERY secure connection to the internet.......go to double-u double-u double-u dot two five nine nine dot com backslash freedom dot zero backslash at hyphen large
Evelina: Connecting....Connec- It is asking for a log-in and password
Binary: good, it's still here.....type in " I underscore am underscore friendly" and leave the password blank
Evelina: Error, does not accept
Binary: it will....now leave the name blank and type in "just space click space yes" as the password
Evelina: Error, does not accept
Binary: (he smiles) now type Kevin as name and Murphy as the password
Evelina: access to web boards granted
Binary: Create new board, title it "I am a mutant hacker...and I need your help"

Binary: um...i'm going to have to connect for this so...here goes....
(Binary reaches out...and finds his way into Evelina's system)
Binary: all right Evelina, thank you for your help....I'll take this from here.......
(He then begins to write a post.....[To all you phreaks, and hackers and crackers and those who LIKE freedom...I bring bad tidings....recently the establishment has seen fit to subjugate another group of people....yep, the mutants...well I guess that's two reasons they want me now...three if you count the pure sexiness of my.......hands. Anyways, the big bad boys in black have decided that they were going to try to kill, yeah, kill, me and my adopting family I just found.......oh yeah...the guys that are trying to kill me....guess what nifty $3.2 million toy they just got from Uncle Sam-ta...yep, thats right, they have the WIBADAR set....for those of you less inclined to the funny pages, this little toy can not just fry birds out of the sky...it can also selectively shut down power grids and parts of the Internet.......so much for freedom of information huh?..........well, if your going to 'hack the planet' please hurry.......I have a feeling 'DESTINY' won't wait............anyways........I'll miss you guys when this is over.........this is KEVIN MURPHY, signing off the 'net].....within seconds of posting it he was up to 5 replies from fellow hackers, and another 15 were reading it....within the next 30 seconds, 35 people had read it, 20 had replied, and 13 had hacked their way into the State of Alaska records system, and independently verified his post......seconds later 5 viruses were activated..shutting down power....water,gas and phone lines..........but never, NEVER, were the computers or internet harmed.)
Binary: allright...NOW I have something to report to ECKS

(The elevator opens up into the defense room and ECKS is only a little surprised to see Nightcat and Binary working on something.)
ECKS: "How do ya like teleportin' Binary? I'm not a big fan of it myself."
(He turns to Kitty, Christina, Ana, Mindcontrol, and Magneto as they exit the elevator behind him.)
ECKS: "Ok everyone, this is what's been dubbed the Defense Room, these four computers control the four weapons stationed just on the opposite side of the wall behind them. Each one has a different view of the mansion's grounds but combined they can view every inch of both the front, side and back yards. All I wanna do for now is test to make sure the computers work, that the weapons respond to their commands, and that the targeting systems are accurate. So I need four volunteers to take a seat at one of the four terminals, those takin' seats will be here when the fightin' starts."
ECKS: "Everyone else will be stationed elsewhere, we'll go over that later. Now if you choose to stay here, there may come a time when we get breached and you will need to leave this room and join the rest of us. Or, and I hope it doesn't come to this, if your ammo supply here runs empty, leave your post and report to me to be reassigned. Volunteers?"

(Liz stepped foward.)
Liz: Just tell me vhere you va..
(Liz stops midsentance, having heard a crash downstairs. She rushes over to one of the non-armament computers and brings up the security cameras for the entrance area. There is a large furred creature standing right infront of the staircase, surrounded by glass.)
Liz: Oh Scheiße. Ve have an intruder on ze first floor. He's a mutant verevolf by ze looks of zings und he ist not vone of ze gute guys.
(Liz turns to ECKS. She smiles and clutches the hilt of one of her katanas.)
Liz: I think I just found somezing to do.
(ECKS nods. Liz goes over to Kevin and kisses him on the cheeck.)
Liz: Be careful.
(She vanishes in a flash of smoke.)

(Binary just nods.......trying to figure out what exactly just happened....oh well....he was never any good at understanding wetware anyways......he turns to ECKs and says)
Binary: I have absolutely NO skills when it comes to physical.....anything really......however, (a glint appears in his eyes) I am VERY skilled at comp stuff........so, how about I manage the Techno-gadgets and other related electrical blinky-lights things?

(Kitty has been watching the computer since Liz had went to meet the intruding mutant. She cannot hear what is being said, but she can still see what's going on.)
Shadowcat: This mutant is not giving Liz any slack. He's determined about something.
(Just then, the mutant attacking Liz leaps and slashes the camera. The picture turns snowy.)
Shadowcat: He got the camera. I can't see anything more.
(Another window comes up on the computer revealing a sky view around the mansion. Kitty sees helicopters.)
Shadowcat: ECKS, we have helicopters approaching the mansion. They're coming in fast.

(Binary smiles.....a very dark smile. he then says)
Binary: hey ECKS....we don't want to deal with these guys just yet, do we? I didn't think so....
(he then 'reaches out' and connects to Evelina)
Binary: Hey Eve......I got a rush job for you........locate all airborne craft approaching the mansion and broadcast a jamming sequence on all available wavelengths.......sequence will crcly through all known jamming algorithms, with 3600 cycles per second........execute....and thanks bunches
Evelina: No problem, Joseph
(Binary then disconnects and laughs, then tells ECKS what he did, ending with)
Binary: Basically.....they just lost any and all tracking they had...they are now flying blind and have no communications.......Lifes just full of fun moments, ain't it?

(Chaingun fire is heard, followed shortly by a large explosion.)
Shadowcat: Nevermind, apparently we have no time...
(Kitty looks at the computer. One helicopter has been destroyed, but there are still others.)

(The small room fill with smoke and Liz and Varalf emerge from the center.)
Liz: I am fine Kitty, do not vorry. Varalf here (she shoots him a glare) desided to take out vone of ze 'choppers vith his spear, sword, und axe.
(She rounds on him.)
Liz: You are vone glucky Russian to have zat healing ability.
(She turns to the rest of the group.)
Liz: Our intruder left out of ze main entrance on his own accord. He vas shot und carried avay. I believe he vas not killed. However I do know zat he ist being controlled by Smith. He offer a hand of freundship before Varalf showed up. I do not know if ve should trust him but I know zat he ist harboring a great deal of terror und hatred tovard Smith. I also know zat he vas sent here for both Christina und Magneto, vith Magneto as his main target. He said zat Smith vould kill him und all of us to get Magneto. Und not to mention as ve speak, ground troops are preparing to invade zis mansion.

(Kitty is relieved to see Liz is okay. As she listens to Liz's report, she checks the computer to see the soldiers already entering the mansion. She faces ECKS.)
Shadowcat: I think now's the time to test our defense.
(She walks over to one of the turrents computers and begins to activate it.)
