(Liz steps very carefully into the shower after undressing. If felt very odd to have water flowing down her body, but it still felt really good. She reaches for the soap and goes to to start washing her body. However, as her hands make contact with her body, she freezes as she feels her ribs just under her skin. She puts the soap down and runs her hands down her body and realizes just how much weight she had lost since all this had started. She rarely ate at the base and she had not actually eaten in almost four days, until today that is. She takes a breath and finishes washing herself. Unable to tell conditioner from shampoo, she just grabbed one of the bottles and started to wash her now honey-blond hair. She got lucky. It was the shampoo. After rinsing the conditioner from her hair, she stopped the water. Reaching a hand out of the shower, she finds that she can't find the towels.)
Liz: Ni-san. Vhere are ze towels?

Nigai: It's in my hand. To show you I'm not looking I'll turn our sight on.
(He closed his eyes and opened them looking around. He slowly opened the door keeping his back towards her. He could see her in the mirror out of the side of his eye, he handed her the towel and looked at the floor.)
Nigai: Anything else?

Liz: Danke. Und hai. I need you to look into ze mirror. I vant to see meinself.
(Liz takes the towel and wraps it around her small body. She steps out of the shower very carefully, her eyes closed. She knew that she had to do this, but she was scared.)

(He turned and looked into the mirror. He blushed slightly smiling as he did.)

(Liz bites her lower lip, but does not smile. She takes a deep breath and lets her towel drop. At the same time, she opens her eyes to see herself for the first time in months. Her hair was well past her shoulders now and her face was not as full as it had once been. Her hands fly to her mouth as she can now see exactly how much weight she had lost. Her normal body wouldn't have shown it so clearly, but the new bone settings really did. Every one of her ribs were showing as was her collarbone. Her hips legs were not extremely skinny, but her hip bones could be seen very slightly. She bends down and picks her towel up. Re-wrapping it around her chest, she turns to Nigai. When she respond it is in a very low whisper.)
Liz: Danke, Ni-san...

(He choked on his spit but kept looking at the mirror for her until she covered back up. He finally cleared his throat and stood straight scratching his head.)
Nigai: Well... I wasn't expecting you to get naked...
(No matter what she thought of herself she was very attractive to him and now after that... It would become very hard not to think about that image for a while.)

(Matthews Johnson sat atop a gray marble building. As he looked out, the races were just starting. Matthews waved to his friend Ezekiel who was participating in the races. A light breeze rustled the tall sweet smelling grass and the racers took off. Matthews leadned back in his chair and laughed. It was a hearty laugh with no touch of fakeness or depression in it. It was the first time he had laughed like that in several long years. Matthews watched the races and stripped of his white robe. As he prepared to partake in the merry making, he felt a hand on his shoulder. Matthews looked over to the Eldar and smiled.)
Matthews: Hey, how are you?
Eldar: I am fine my brother. I see you're getting ready for the next race.
Matthews: Yes, well, I surely can't stay around and not have fun.
Eldar: That would be impossible.
(Matthews laughed at the comment and shook his head.)
Eldar: Matthews, I have some rather interesting news.
Matthews: Yes?
Eldar: Your time here is short, my dear brother. Soon, you will be back among the living.
Matthews: What?! You're kidding right?
(The look in the Eldar's mind told Matthews that he wasn't kidding. Matthews's face contorted into a mask of disbelief and exasperation.)
Matthews: But I'm happy here. I really am. For the first time in a long time, I know where I belong and what I want. I don't want to go back.
Eldar: It's okay Matthews. One day you will return, that I promise you. But evidently, it's not your time. Besides, there's so much more you can accomplish now. Make every day count Matthews. Every day...........

(Matthews opened his eyes to see his brother leaning over him. Sweat poured from his forehead and then he fell over. Matthews blinked several times and looked around.)
Matthews: Where am I?

(Chaze watched as Matthews's body glowed with a golden aura. As the air became electric again, a quick beam of light shot into Matthews and Marcus pulled away. Marcus gave Matthews a quick smile and then fell to the sand, unconscious. Matthews looked around and Chaze felt a smile form on his lips.)
Chaze: Unbelievable!
(Chaze started to push himself up to head over to Matthews, but Jehia struck him in the back of the head. Chaze fell over again and landed hard in the sand. As he lost consciousness, he could see the sandy haired man approaching Matthews and Christina.)

(Christina witnessed before her eyes as Marcus revived his brother. Marcus had passed out from the extended use of his powers. Christina looked at Matthews with some tears of joy in her eyes and small smile.)
Christina: Matthews...
(Christina then noticed the sandy haired man approaching them and felt Jehia press the barrel of the gun against the back of her head. Christina didn't move a inch as she cautiousily watched the sandy haired man stand right above them.)

Unknown: Good man. Jehia.
(Jehia nodded behind Christina and momentarily took the gun off of Christina's neck and aimed at Marcus. Before anyone could react, Jehia pulled the trigger and Marcus's brains splattered out on the adjacent sand. Matthews watched helplessly as his brother was killed right in front of him.
Matthews: Noooooooo, you son of a b!tch!
(Jehia turned the gun back to Christina and smiled once again.)
Unknown: All right Matthews. Now that he's out the way, you still have a job from me. Where's the Blade of Apocalypse?
Matthews: F@#$ you!
(Jehia cocked the gun and pressed it harder against Christina's head. Tears flowed from Matthews's face. He had just come back to this cruel world only to get his brother killed and his lover threatened. Matthews snarled and then shot his hand up. A sonic wave hit the sandy haired man in the chest and propelled him up and away. The man flew into the air and then dissipated in a swirl of blue-gray smoke. Matthews flung his hand at Jehia and her gun broke internally. Matthews nodded at Christina.)

(Liz sighs as closes her eyes to shut out the image of herself. She pads past Nigai and starts to put the clothes that he had left out for her on. She does not put the sneakers on however. No matter what shape her her were or were in, she never wore shoes. She hated the way she couldn't move in them. She turns back around and opens her eyes to see herself again. He was looking at her.)
Liz: Bitte...Take ze sight avay. I do not vant to see meinself.

(Christina grabs Jehia's arm and uses her free hand to throw a punch right in Jehia's face. As Jehia staggers back, Christina stands up and gives her a kick in stomach. When she tries to kick her again, Jehia catches her leg and gives her a right hook. She then kicks out Christina's supporting leg, causing her to fall to the ground. Jehia then pulls out her knife and begins to walk towards Christina with a smile on her face.)
Jehia: You never had a chance, girl. Don't worry. Matthews will stay alive for now, and I personally will take good care of him until then.
(Jehia hadn't noticed Christina's eyes glowing purple. Christina stands up and turns around. Just as Jehia lunges at her, Christina holds up her purple-glowing hands and pushes them towards Jehia. Jehia is hurled back to the nearby pyramid where she is knocked unconscious. Christina takes deep breaths as her eyes return to their normal blue and her hands stop glowing. She makes her way back to Matthews and falls down to her knees beside him. She places her hand over his.)
Christina: Matthews... are you okay?

(Nigai closed his eyes and took it off. He blinked a few times before he walked over to her touching her hair.)

(Liz blushes bright red as Nigai touches her hair.)
Liz: I surprised zat you even vant to look at me. I look awful. I have never looked like zis in mein life. I doubt zat any ozer man vould vant to look at me vith out any clothes on.
(She pulls at the shirt, which was hanging loose on her despite that fact that it was small.)
Liz: I doubt zat I supposed to look like zis in zis.

(His hands went up cradling her face in his hands. He leaned forward his lips a centimeter above her lips.)
Nigai: It doesn't matter what anyone thinks... you look wonderful to me... Your entire body... I want to kiss all of it...
(He gently placed a kiss to her lips as one arm ran down her back holding her.)
