(Liz gasps as his kisses and touches her. No other person had ever done that besides Chaze. She stands stock still for a moment before finally closing her eyes. She sighs and moves her head so that it rested on his chest.)
Liz: I am sorry... Forgive me.

(He held her close resting his cheek on the top of her head. He wanted to have that wonderful relationship again. He craved human attention... her attention.)

(Liz brings her arms up in between her and Nigai. As she does so, she pushes herself into him. She was scared but she didn't know how to tell anyone that.)
Liz: I am supposed to be ze leader of zis team... but Christina und Radar died. Yes, Christina ist ok, but who knows vhat ist happening out zere right now. I am horrible. I should have gone vith zem. Ni-san... Tell me vhat to do...

(He held her closer rubbing her back.)
Nigai: Depend on me to take care of you until you're fully healed. I'll try to fix everything that is wrong the only thing I need you to do is help lead the way.
He gently touched her cheek as he spoke softly to her.)
Nigai: Let me be your eyes and your strength... I'll help you through anything...

(Liz shakes her head violently against him and her small fists punch him feebly. Her heart was being torn. She still loved Chaze with all her heart, but she knew what the future held for the two of them. It was only a matter of time before she would have to go back to Nur and he would make her kill Chaze. Everything was tearing her up inside. She knew that soon her mind would snap under everything that had happened and would soon happen. She says nothing as she continues to physically show her emotional torment. She could only hope that Nigai would forgive her in the end...)

He let her hit him hoping it would make her feel better. He smiled softly at her.)
Nigai: Don't worry as long as you don't hit me with holy or silver you can't hurt me.

(Liz continues to punch him until her hits get weaker and weaker. She realizes that it had been Nur that allowed her to fight despite the condition her body was in. She turns from Nigai and throws herself in what she could only hope was the direction of the bed. It was but she was about two feet short of it. Instead of landing on the bed, lands in a kneeling position on the side of the bed. She doesn't drag herself onto it though. She just turns to push her back against it and she wraps her small arms around her legs.)

(He sighed heavily before he lifted her to lay on the bed. He pulled his coat off along with most of his weapons, after doing so he layed down behind her holding her close.)

( Amazingly, as soon as Nigai settles behind her, Liz's shaking and crying stops. Something about the way he was holding her made her feel safe. She sighs herself and softly pushes herself into his chest.)

(Matthews groans as he pushes himself up into a sitting position. He had only been dead for a day, but he felt like he had been dead a century. He stretched slightly and then looked over at his dead brother.)
Matthews: No, Christina, I'm not okay. In fact, I'm pretty damn far from okay.
(Radar cracks his neck and then blinks his blue eyes. He looks at Christina and smiles briefly. This was the first actual time he had seen her without being dead or being in a serious predicament. He savored the moment and took every drank in every detail about her. Matthews placed a soft hand to her face and winked at her.)
Radar: Sentiments come later, right now I want vengeance.
(A bluish haze gathered around a small tornado and the sandy haired man formed from its interior.)
Unknown: Matthews, good to see you alive.
Radar: The same can't be said for you.
(Matthews launched himself up and stood on unsteady legs. He winced at the pain in his legs but faced the man nonetheless.)
Unknown: Please, you're nowhere capable enough to handle anything I could dish out. But I am glad that you're back. I still need the Blade of Apocalypse. And you're going to get it for me.
(For no reason, the man evaporated into the air. Chaze landed in his place a second later. Claws out, intending to kill him, Chaze growled at the two.)
Chaze: Get out of here! Right now!
(Chaze pulled the Blade of Apocalypse out of his pocket and waved it in front of his face.)
Chaze: I'll keep him on the run. You just get Nigai or his father to come help me out. Now go!
(Chaze turned and ran to the small encampment at the western side of the temple. Matthews turned to Christina.)
Radar: Come on, I don't think either of us are going to be any use to him. But maybe if we can get Nigai here, he might provide some help. Let's go.
(Matthews half stumbled to the jet and beckoned for Christina to follow.)

(Chaze jumped into a jeep and thanked god that the keys were already in it. As he turned on the ignition, he heard a loud click behind him. The sandy haired man stood behind the Jeep and held an RPG. As quickly as he could, Chaze shifted into reverse and slammed on the gas. The jeep lurched backwards and the sandy haired man had to evaporate to avoid being run over. As Chaze screeched to a stop and shifted into drive, the sandy haired man reappeared and fired the RPG. The missile barely missed the jeep as Chaze hit the gas and the jeep pulled ahead. Looking back in the mirror Chaze grabbed his heart. He couldn't believe that he had almost gotten blown up and he felt a wave of relief hit him. Then he heard the screech of tires behind him and looked in the rear view mirror to see Jehia and the man in another Jeep. Jehia had transformed into a hideous Theata and held her arm cannon out to fire. As she did, Chaze swerved to the left. The blast blew a mammoth crater in the road and Chaze shook his head in disbelief. As the sun rose above the horizon and the first rays shone out, Chaze rolled his eyes.)

(Christina ran after Matthews and helped him get to the jet. It must be so hard for him after just being revived, physically, but now his brother was killed right in front of him and he was revived in the midst of enemies. After helping him in, Christina climbs into the Shredder as well. She looks back towards Chaze. Why did he have the Blade?)

(Nigai sighed happily pulling her closer and started to hum an old tune his mother used to hum. Ir made him smile and remember better times with his mother and not the horrible tests. He ran his fingers over her arm to comfort her.)

(The tune that Nigai was humming was oddly familiar, but it was accomplishing it's task. Every now and then, Nigai could feel the muscles in her arm twitching slightly as she started to drift back into sleep. Although she had managed some earlier, she had been plagued by her usual nightmares. She could only hope that they would stay away this time.)

(Nigai kissed the back of her neck lightly as he continued to hum. For some reason he felt the need to protect her no matter what the cost. He checked her breathing to see if she was asleep even though he wasn't sure he felt the need to say it.)
